John Stofa Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 When I'm not able to be at PBS I almost always watch the games with my younger brother, either at his house or mine. We've been doing it that way for about 20+ years now, since we both moved away from home. The tradition has continued for so long now that it just doesn't feel right if we aren't watching a game together. The Bengals are a lifelong family tradition in the "John Stofa" clan!WHO DEY! :player: Quote
BengalBax Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Im not one to go to sports bars on gameday.. I llike the friendly confines of my living room with the fridge nearby and me right in front of the tube in my recliner..How about you guys?/ How do you usually spend Sunday watching the Bengals? Sounds like me in a nutshell Quote
MARVIN=W'S Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I watch home games from my seats in row 8, corner end zone. I've always been a watch fom home guy so nobody thinks I'm nuts when I'm yelling @ the TV. I just bought a projector from a sports bar that closed down and set it up in my basement. It is 8 ft corner to corner so I'm pretty fired up about tv games this year. Quote
The Big Orange Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I'm in the same boat as ClevelandBengal. I'll go to the game on Sunday (can't wait!) After that, it's the sportsbar scene. Worst case scenario, I'll listen to the game on the radio, wait a few days to get my game DVD from my NEW BEST FRIEND AND HERO, Big O, then watch it. BTW, If the Bengals would happen to loose, I might just go 4 wheeling on the bottom of Lake Erie with my Jeep. I was at that fiasco in Cleve last year, and Gus Frerotte's infamous left handed interception a few years ago. I can only take so much!!! Best Friend, nothin'...we're family...BTW the people whom I have received orders (snail mail letters) from who will be receiving the Browns game (and beyond are...)ChristiansburgKingwoodNew YorkColumbus, MSNewportBirminghamThere's actually one or 2 more that sent in orders a long time ago, whom I've misplaced. PM me and let me know...I'm a pirate and a reverend, not a bookeeper, but I'm tryin' Quote
Bengal_Brad Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I'm from the Milwaukee area. There is a sports bar here called Romains. It is paradise for an NFL fan. Every single game is shown. They have probably around 50 TV's. 3-huge TV's (but mostly Packers or NFC Central games on those). Myself and usually 2 other local Bengal fans go there. If anyone is from the Milwaukee area, I invite you down. It's a lot of fun. Quote
jbx182 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 north endzone 8 times, willie's, then detroit! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Down here in San Antonio, I go to a place called Fatso's Sports Bar. They show every game on Wide Screens as well as small ones all around the place. It costs nothing to get in and has fans from every team, as it's a Military town. No one starts fights, but it's always loud and has a huge following of Cowboys haters !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
volcom69 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 whats the best place to lisitin to it online. Quote
rob_justdmb Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 sec 109 row 18 at home, BW-3 Hyde Park/Norwood on the road. Once a year I head to the stadium for the Club level party. 2003 it was the SD game, my sister won the top door prize, a game worn Big Willie jersey (which I got signed when I delivered Big Willie a pizza the day camp broke last year), 2004 it was Washington.
