9-7 Wildcard for the Bengals.

Schedule: Browns (twice), Vikings, Bears, Texans, Jags, Titans, Steelers (twice), Packers, Ravens (twice), Colts, Lions, Bills, and Chiefs.

Honestly I don't see them losing 6. Sweep Browns, split with rest of division (4-2), "should be wins" Bears, Texans, Titans, Lions, Packers and Jags (10-2). Could go either way: Bills, Chiefs, Vikings (lets say they are 1-2 with these ---- 11-4). Will be pumped if the Bengals win: Colts (11-5).

11-5 we win division.

Agreed, except I assume we will lose one of those games you labled as "should be wins." I wouldn't put Jacksonville in that category either. Our season will ride on how we play against the scrub teams.

Perhaps you meant 19-0? Did I miss something?

Well, the question asked was "how many will they win?"

19 ;)

Aha, please allow me to slap myself and shove my foot in my mouth. ^_^

During the regular season...11-5

They will lose one other at home and 2 away, one of them a stupid one.

The will win the division and lose to the Pats in the AFC Championship game.

Even if this doesn't happen, isn't it funner to predict they will do well than do lousy, I mean in your own mind?

Agreed

Can't see a game on the schedule where I can say "that will definitely be a loss".

Hey, it's week 0, so WTF, eh?

Besides, the Bengals have been down so long...the law of averages has to kick in sometime, right?

we start at 5-5 but we get hot down the stretch win our last 6 games

win our first playoff game then we get knocked out

Yikes, I hope not. I'd rather have a fast start with a slow finish to get me a playoff birth. But then again, I don't get to pick do I? ^_^

3-13 if Palmer starts

We'd do better than 3-13 with Krenzel under center and Chad injured all year.

Well yeah sure, but the teams that get to the playoffs on the strength of playing mediocre football until getting hot in December rarely go deep into the playoffs. I'd rather have the good period come early, just to solidify the playoff spot. A good team wouldn't let a slow finish affect it's performance in a playoff game.
