Bobcat Bengal
My interest in College Football has officially peaked.Man, there are some good teams out there.Georgia's DJ Shockley, Reggie Bush, and Ted Ginn Jr. all looked pretty good today. schweinhart
Yeah, the college game has kicked into gear fast. Loads of great teams and talented players.USC looks like they'll destroy whoever is foolish enough to step on the field with them.I didn't see Iowa but I'm throwing out an eary guess that that's the Big 10 team to beat.Texas, Jawjuh...there's some powerful teams. And there's some powerful players out there.LT Marcus McNeil of Auburn is a man among boys. rizzy
I didn't see Iowa but I'm throwing out an eary guess that that's the Big 10 team to beat. Iowa is not the big 10 team to beat. Yeah they destroyed ball st., but a high school team could have too. This team suspended either 11 or 13 players before this game for academics. This was a team that was bad in the first place and after that they went to the toliet big time.Ohio State and Michigan are still the teams to beat in the big 10 this year. redsbengalsbucks
I still think Purdue is a team to watch, no UM or OSU games this year could mean co-champion.
rizzy
I still think Purdue is a team to watch, no UM or OSU games this year could mean co-champion.Co-Champion is fine with me because it wouldn't matter. If either ohio state or michigan are co-champions with them that means a national championship game for ohio state or michigan.

Exactly why the Big Ten needs a championship game.Post # 500 :player:
LABengalsFan09
Omar Jacobs could throw 90 TDs But seriously, I think Leinart could throw 50 if he doesn't have to leave the game with 5 minutes left in the 3rd qtr like he did Saturday. I can't wait to see them play Notre Dame, who roughed up a BCS team pretty bad Saturday...
bengalindian
Omar Jacobs is SICK. He's gonna be better than Ron Mexico. So are the Bucks, if they could only hold Texas scoreless for 3 and a half quarters next week, that would be clutch. And I definitely think that Purdue has a chance of going undefeated in the Big 10, because they don't have a tough schedule. Lucky them. Stripes
Anybody see Josh Betts against the Buckeyes (with Miami of Ohio)? I think he's a great sleeper as possible NFL quarterback talent. He's at least 2nd in the MAC behind Jacobs, and I think he could even be better if he had a more talented offense to play in.Maybe I'm biased because he QBed my high school team when I was a freshman. Omar Jacobs is about as accurate as they come, even with that unusual flick action he's got on throws. But Vince Young is Vick Sick. I'm not here to rain on the Buckeye and Wooferine parade, but Iowa has got the 2 baddest LBs in the Big 10 if not the country in Hodge and Greenway. Now, 2 LBs won't win a conference championship but their QB is a gamer w/ 2 returning WRs who are decent for college. Maybe they just are in the mix to maybe play spoilers. Ohio State has the best linebacking core in the nation. No one can touch hawk, schlegel and carpenter.
schweinhart
Ohio State has the best linebacking core in the nation. No one can touch hawk, schlegel and carpenter. They're gonna need to be w/ Vince Young on the run.I'm guessing Young gets spied by Hawk, which would be an intriguing match up because of Hawk's speed and balance.OSU vs. Texas ought to be one helluva ballgame.Being as early as it is and in Columbus, the Bucks should be favored.Texas lost some weapons on offense in Bo Sciaffe TE, Will Matthews FB, and Cedric Benson who might take some time to effectively replace. He's scary good.
