Stripes
My historys? The only player ive ever "flopped" on is Madieu. Im right almost all the time, even the greats (me) are wrong sometimes. Very recently you denied flopping on Madieu as well. You felt as though you'd lose some credibility if you denied EVERYTHING, so you gave in on that point.Baby steps.Just continue the progress. You were allowed to be wrong about Chris Perry.Accept the truth.
HairOnFire
What I said about him and Chad Johnson has just as much truth in it as what he says about me and Chris Perry when he was picked. NONE. I have given him links to prove that he was wrong on that, but he keeps saying it over and over again, baseless. So I figure why not just make something up, and even after he proves it wrong, act like I didnt notice. It seems to work for HoF. Big difference. What you claimed I said about Chad Johnson is a complete lie. The comments you made about Chris Perry being a pick the Bengals should have skipped are your own words, and were found and then posted on this board by somebody else. The fact that you've taken both sides of an issue aren't my problem. Simply put, your credibility isn't my concern...although it's fun to talk about when you keep attempting to bait people. And along those lines I don't think you're doing yourself any favors by lying about me in an attempt to defend yourself. My advice? Stop baiting people...if you can...and watch how quickly this stuff goes away. Because lying about me, and then admitting it only after Joisey disputed what you said, probably isn't the way to go. jamesbrooks21
Marvin stated that the numbers didnt mean anything to him.. He said it was close.. I know the numbers aren't everything. It stills shows Bramlet played better unless what was going on in practice was completely different. From what I saw this preseason Krenzel was outplayed, and again Bramlet knows the system. He might have won a couple games for the Bears but his completion percentage was horrible. He fumbled 8 times in 6 games! He never really impressed me at Ohio State and he definitely didn't this past preseason. That said, I trust all of Marvin's decisions but this was just the greatest shock to me. TJJackson
besides a couple morons like HoF and TJJackson, there are some great entertaining posters here.Again, I count being called a moron by this particular person among the very finest compliments I could ever receive. My thanks to DPM
KiLBurn
I'm kinda surprised you didn't put Shaun Smith on here. I recall a few peops giving me grief when I said he would make the roster 3 months ago.

You were allowed to be wrong about Chris Perry.Accept the truth. The thing is I was never against the Perry pick. I liked it when it first happened, I liked it when the draft was over, I liked it during 04 training camp, and during all of 2004. Any comments I made about skipping it were either made to bait, piss someone off, or because I didnt like the overall draft so I just went off at everything at once. I dont remember it, and I know i never felt that way, but if it helps HoF sleep better at night, fine. If Perry turns out to be a bust, which is HIGHLY unlikely, i will of been wrong, but at this rate, I appear correct there. The ones who are wrong, is all of you who decided that he was a bust because he got injured last year. You know who you are.I backed off on Madieu because i just got tired of argueing about that. I was wrong in that I thought he would be above average but he ended up being great. I doubt i was the only one with this opinion (in fact I know i wasnt), but whatever, it doesnt matter. You're not real big on sincerity, are you? In this thread alone you've now admitted you lied about me, lied in the past to bait people, lied on occasion just to piss people off, or simply said a bunch of stuff you didn't believe just because you're in a bad mood. Add it all up and one thing becomes obvious. You lie alot. Of course none of this is news and I'm pretty sure most of us came to the same conclusion without your confession. Still, I'd say your credibility just flat-lined.

Yeah, it matters. The Bengals traded a disruptive player, Corey Dillon, and in return added a player you now admit has become great. In addition, Dillon was replaced by a high character player who shattered Dillon's franchise rushing record. So Dillon was more than capably replaced. Not only isn't he missed the team actually became better without him. Now check your avatar. Then check your signature. Next, try to remember the thousands of words you wrote this offseason about Rudi Johnson. Finally, check your credibility, because you left it at the door. Was it worth it?
