KiLBurn Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I'd say Perry sticks and Russell is the odd man out. Quote
kingwilly Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 not sure broussard can go to PS Quote
KiLBurn Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Anyone else think Shaun Smith makes the roster? I hope he does. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 has justin been getting double teamed like mad ? O_o not even 1 tackle? Quote
bengalbutch Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I don't think Tab or Quincy would clear waivers. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Smith has been playing like he actually wants to make the team all preseason. He ought to.On another note, Carter Warley deserves a job somewhere... Quote
KiLBurn Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 It sucks not being able to watch the game... Is J. Smith even in the game right now? Quote
DontPushMe Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Anyone else think Shaun Smith makes the roster? I hope he does.Weather he does or doesnt, he definitly deserves it, hes had a great preseason, and played well last year when he had the chance. But I'm not sure they want to give up on Askew just yet. Thats a tough one. I really wouldnt rule out putting Askew on the PUP list, or even cutting him, ML has shown that he will cut a 2nd round pick after one year, I doubt he would hesitate with a 4th.BTW, Ohalete leads the team in tackles and sacks. Hopefully he can start soon and we wont have to worry about watching Kaesviharn do this: Quote
membengal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 has justin been getting double teamed like mad ? O_o not even 1 tackle? He barely played, and in the little time he did almost had a sack after he flushed Sorghi from the pocket and forced him to throw the ball away... Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Fanene! Dang, bud, they were supposed to score, don't want them all p*ssed off come the regular season...sheesh... Quote
HairOnFire Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 i'm talking about this game, mr. sensitive.... I'm talking about proven performance. And what the *(&#%^! is wrong with a little sensitivity? Quote
KiLBurn Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 If you are overly sensitive it could contribute to premature spoutage. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Diden't caleb not even play? why cut him when they can just pup him Quote
CatchAndreCatch Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 nice win, lets hope u dont do that in the first game of the season Quote
HairOnFire Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 BTW - HOF, check the joined date...been here the whole time buddy. Slow to learn, huh? Quote
JPW Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Caleb Miller = Cut I think Caleb Miller goes to the PuP list ... Quote
HairOnFire Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Updating the earlier report about Garcia in detroit...he's done for the season, apparently. Busted ankle with ligament damage, per kffl. Hated to see it, but he was taking off and running on almost every other play. Never understood why so many QB's do that in the preseason. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 so how did Fanene look? think he'll make the final cut? Quote
KiLBurn Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I'm going to try to stay awake and watch the tape delay. Get a better look at how some of our underdogs did. Quote
turningpoint Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I went to the game...and my lord carter warley, can kick off the football!!! i sware if we don;t keep him as our kick off specialist i wont be happy...he drilled 2 into the 2nd and another 2 inside the 5.Also koistra was the only guy isaw all night make a mistake vs the peewee colts, he just got flat out beat at the gaurd position allowing a sack..i mean he got totally faked out on a spin by a dt. Quote
Bobcat Bengal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Wow....now this is a 360 degree improvement from last week. These guys did just about everything possible in this game.Coach Lewis musta tore some a**h***s out this week leading up to the game. Quote
redsbengalsbucks Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 HOF - all of Rudi's runs were vs the 2nds and 3rds too, so the D is irrelevant, that is my point.Really? Where ya been for a couple of years? Rudi rushed for almost 1,500 yards last season...all of 'em coming against starters. Really? We must of been watching a different Eagles game last year. 99 of RJs 1450 rushing yards came against eagle backups in a throw away game of theirs. When will you finally admit that RUDI is a better player to have on the team than Dillon was. All Dillon did was whine and cause distractions, he may be a more talented RB but that has nothing to do with the fact that Rudi is better for the team. Rudi has already started to erase Dillon's team records, although I dont see anyone ever taking his single game rushing total record. Dillon is the past Rudi and Perry are the future, get over it and join the rest of Bengaldom in revalry for our new found 1-2 punch running attack. Quote
