kingwilly Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 HOF - all of Rudi's runs were vs the 2nds and 3rds too, so the D is irrelevant, that is my point. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 How about that poor man's David Pollack, eh?OK, now if I'm Dungy I'm getting a little annoyed... Quote
DontPushMe Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 HOF - all of Rudi's runs were vs the 2nds and 3rds too, so the D is irrelevant, that is my point. Exactly, except Rudi Johnson had the benefit of playing with our first team offense. Quote
HairOnFire Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 HOF - all of Rudi's runs were vs the 2nds and 3rds too, so the D is irrelevant, that is my point. Really? Where ya been for a couple of years? Rudi rushed for almost 1,500 yards last season...all of 'em coming against starters. Quote

Perry got plenty of reps with the Bengals starters last week against the Eagles. How'd that turn out? Quote
HairOnFire Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 How about that poor man's David Pollack, eh?OK, now if I'm Dungy I'm getting a little annoyed... Maybe he should have a quick conversation with Corey Simon on the sideline. Might cheer him up. Quote
kingwilly Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 i'm talking about this game, mr. sensitive.... Quote
membengal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Larry Stevens making a big move to make the team with that INT return for a TD. Nice.Ghuicac apparently left in the first with a hand injury, but they just announced the X-rays have come back negative, so that is good. And, DPM, what HoF said. We don't have to choose. We can root for both Rudi and Perry. Same team and all that stuff.I for one am pumped at having them both healthy and ready to contribute.Krenzel just vomited on himself in his first effort at makin the team tonite. Quote
bengalsLB Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 how is ohatele looking ? from his stats he is lookin like a beast Quote

Where ya been for a couple of years? Rudi rushed for almost 1,500 yards last season...all of 'em coming against starters. Really? We must of been watching a different Eagles game last year. 99 of RJs 1450 rushing yards came against eagle backups in a throw away game of theirs. Quote

Might cheer him up. Probably would at that. He could also chat with Manning, James, Feeney, yeah, he'd probably come away not too worried.Doubt when he chats with his No. 2's after they choke vs. bengals No. 2's...that the conversation will be so pleasant. And, oh, yeah, if you'd like my wet blanket, I'll be happy to ship it to. My treat. Just let me drink a few more beers first so I can get it good 'n' soaked... Quote
kingwilly Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I am psyched that we have two distinctively different, highly skilled RB's that make prep'ing for us very tough.Stop suckin' Rudi's D**k so much, it makes you look bad.BTW - HOF, check the joined date...been here the whole time buddy. membengal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 how is ohatly looking? Only listening to it online, but I think he had a big hit to force a fumble and save a potential TD in the first half.Looking forward to seeing that on NFL Network later. Quote
bengalsrz Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 u can see his stats herehttp://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/live/NFL_20050902_IND@CIN Quote
membengal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Big play by Indiana Jones apparently on 4th down. Guys grinding to make the team are making plays. Nice to see. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Updating the earlier report about Garcia in detroit...he's done for the season, apparently. Busted ankle with ligament damage, per kffl. Quote

membengal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Bramlet moving the team down the field after Krenzel didn't do much of anything. Could be a big swing in that battle.Since I am unabashedly rooting for Bramlet, I am pleased. Quote
Kazkal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 4-18-IND 40 (12:26) K.Larson punts 38 yards to IND 2, Center-B.St. Louis, downed by CIN-T.Perry.seems like his job is safe now, Quote
DontPushMe Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Anyone else sick of hearing Lapham say "that will help him make the team" every time a player makes a run of the mill type play? Quote
Kazkal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 man the last WR spot is gonna be hard decide when you only get 1 return in a gamewth has peter warrick for a punt return of -3 o_O Quote

Kazkal Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 probbley a glitch seattle is playing right now,if you look @ their gamecenter min punted but sea has no showing for punt return Quote
DontPushMe Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 man the last WR spot is gonna be hard decide when you only get 1 return in a gamewth has peter warrick for a punt return of -3 o_O I actually think we should keep a 5th RB (wilson) and 5 WRs. IMO Broussard and T. Perry would clear waivers to the practice squad, Wilson wouldnt. Quote
