BengalNation1281
I'm gonna say the Titans.
skyline
No, the Titans will struggle, but they've got enough on offense to win a few games. It's got to be the 49ers. They were my pick as the worst team from last year, and what did they do during the offseason to make you think it'll be any different now? rizzy
The Dolphins will have the worst team this year. I don't even know if they will win any games.
DC_Bengals_Fan
It's the easy choice, but the Niners. Team was atrocious last year, and all they added was a rookie QB and a new coach. Check this - I think the Niners are WORSE than last year. If they start Rattay they have a chance of slipping out of the basement simply because he has some playing experience, but Smith will have some tough growing painsI don't think Tenn will be that low unless McNair gets hurt early and for a lot of the season. They have Norm Chow's new offense and enough weapons on offense. The D does look shaky though.Bears might end up that low, no experience at all at QB. Browns also have a great shot at it. Dolphins won't be that low because their defense is going to be awesome, they have talent at RB again, and anyone is better at QB than the Feeley/Fiedler monster. I'll grant you their running game is decent, but Orton's got only 2 preseason games under his belt, got 3rd-string reps in camp, etc. The Bears were bad last year and I don't think they've upgraded - they got Benson but Jones was pretty good last year, so that's a wash at best with Benson's holdout.Comparing them to Miami, I see Miami as better in every way. Better QB situation, better runners (Ronnie Brown has actually been in camp), and I think a better defense. People might forget that Miami was starting to pull it together at the end of last year. I don't see them in the bottom 3, anyway.I see the Bears as being probably 3rd worst after the 9ers and Browns. After that, there's lots of teams that could compete for the toilet. Stripes
The 49ers are by far the worst in my opinion. If they win more than 4 games, it will be a miracle. No legitimate WRs, a bad RB, a rookie QB (and Rattay), and a bad defense. Everything about this team needs work.
Who?
The Niners or the Bears most definitely, unless Orton does exteremely well like Big Ben did, then they are going to be last or second to last.

The Bears improved via the Urlacher/Green and half their defense being back from injury. Remember, two years ago, they had a studly defense. It will be as good as the Ravens D, and Orton can't be any worse than Boller....

rizzy
The worst team this year now may be the saints. Having everything destroyed and family members all over down there is going to ruin their season. I would love for them to play well this year, but I just don't think they are going to be into this year too much.
jamesbrooks21
I know its the easy pick but i don't see how any team could be as bad as san fransico. they added no major free agent acquistions to a team that finished 2-14. if alex smith is named the starter its hard to imagine when they will get that first victory. their schedule is not that favorable either: 1 Sun, Sep 11 St. Louis 2 Sun, Sep 18 at Philadelphia 3 Sun, Sep 25 Dallas 4 Sun, Oct 2 at Arizona 5 Sun, Oct 9 Indianapolis 6 BYE WEEK 7 Sun, Oct 23 at Washington 8 Sun, Oct 30 Tampa Bay 9 Sun, Nov 6 NY Giants 10 Sun, Nov 13 at Chicago 11 Sun, Nov 20 Seattle 12 Sun, Nov 27 at Tennessee 13 Sun, Dec 4 Arizona 14 Sun, Dec 11 at Seattle 15 Sun, Dec 18 at Jacksonville 16 Sat, Dec 24 at St. Louis 17 Sun, Jan 1 Houston IMO i think they are looking at about the same win total as last year

By now, Boller is just pretty bad. But that's a lot better than a completely inexperienced rookie in most instances. We'll see how healthy the Bears D is and just *how* putrid their offense is. I still see Miami as better than the Bears, but both have a chance to improve over the season to be better than the 9ers, Brows, and possibly teams like the Lions and Titans. And no, I'm not drinking the Jokey Harrington kool-aid.

San Fran gets to play Arizona twice, Seattle twice, and St. Louis twice. Ok, St. Louis is kinda like the Bengals, all offensive firepower, little defense. Seattle has a decent offense and a decent defense, but they aren't a lock to win the division.Arizona is an up and comer, but it's no Cincinnati, yet alone a Pittsburgh.San Fran should split with Arizona. Cleveland won't win a game in the division....

More than likely they'll take at least a home game against any of the North opponents, and I'd even wager they get two of 'em. Hopefully our Bengals don't fall into that hole in week one. Bengal_Brad
I like most of you said 49ers, but it easily could be Da Bears. Rookie QB, no real weapons (with any real experience). Could be a long season in Chi-Town. Thank the football Gods the Bengals play them this year!

Rookie QB, no real weapons (with any real experience). Could be a long season in Chi-Town. Thank the football Gods the Bengals play them this year! Which Bears are you talking about? The Bad News Bears? Because the Chicago Bears have weapons with experience. They just lake a veteran QB. Muhsin Muhammad is a vet with experience. He has 10 years experience, and the last three years he has succeeded in doing better than Pdub ever did in each of them. In fact, he's had at least 800 yards in every season he wasn't injured. He's one hell of a weapon at WR, if Orten can get him the ball. He had 16 touchdowns last year. How many did Chad and TJ combine for? That's right, 13 boys and girls.Thomas Jones is a vet with experience at running back too. He had almost 1000 yards last seaon in a season cut short at just 14 games played. He still averaged 4.0 yards per carry and had 7 TDs. In other words, his yards per carry was the same as our own Rudi Johnson. They now have a double headed pounding pair with Benson in the backfield as well. Cincinnati's son, Marc Edwards at fullback is a pass catching threat and a good blocking back. But that's not why the Bengals should be worried about the Bears. This is.Adwewale Ogunleye|Tommie Harris|Ian Scott(or anyone else)|Alex BrownLance Briggs|Brian Urlacher|Hunter HillenmeyerThat front 7 is dangerous. It gets worse....Nathan Vasher|Michael Green|Mike Brown|Jerry AzumahThis defense is going to give other teams a long season....
