Stripes Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 But can I deep fry it first? That sounds absolutely disgusting, so yes, please do! Quote
KiLBurn Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 I think I would boil the cabbage and toss in some onions, tomato and smoked sausage. Add a touch of vinegar and salt and pepper to taste. Quote
Stripes Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 I think I would boil the cabbage and toss in some onions, tomato and smoked sausage. Add a touch of vinegar and salt and pepper to taste. That actually doesn't sound half bad... I don't know about the whole fried thing, but that would be a great mix of tastes... Worth a try!Somehow our Pick 'em thread has turned into a Food Channel discussion... It happens I suppose. Quote
San Antonio Bengal Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 I'm in. Up to 48 now... Quote
The Big Orange Posted September 10, 2005 Author Report Posted September 10, 2005 I left my heart...in San Antonio...velcomeOne of the best days of my life was in San Antonio. When I was 16 I met and immediately fell in love with a girl named Serena Stanley...she was a pastors daughter and I wasn't fat yet.We were walking through a shop as we strolled the river walk (whatever the Hell you call that) and I found a #20 bill on the floor. We skipped out of the church meeting that night and went to a restaraunt. The next day we went to the Alamo and then we had to say goodbye.I rode the elevator with her to walk her back to her hotel room where she kissed me and made my legs immoble. I never even made it off the elevator on that floor...I never saw her again, but wow, what a kiss! For a sixteen year old...I hope she made it to the Olympics. Quote
