I think I would boil the cabbage and toss in some onions, tomato and smoked sausage. Add a touch of vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.

That actually doesn't sound half bad... I don't know about the whole fried thing, but that would be a great mix of tastes... Worth a try!

Somehow our Pick 'em thread has turned into a Food Channel discussion... It happens I suppose.

I left my heart...in San Antonio...velcome

One of the best days of my life was in San Antonio. When I was 16 I met and immediately fell in love with a girl named Serena Stanley...she was a pastors daughter and I wasn't fat yet.

We were walking through a shop as we strolled the river walk (whatever the Hell you call that) and I found a #20 bill on the floor. We skipped out of the church meeting that night and went to a restaraunt. The next day we went to the Alamo and then we had to say goodbye.

I rode the elevator with her to walk her back to her hotel room where she kissed me and made my legs immoble. I never even made it off the elevator on that floor...I never saw her again, but wow, what a kiss! For a sixteen year old...I hope she made it to the Olympics.

FORTY-NIIIIIIIIIIINNE

Who's gonna be lucky #50....

I have dream, brothers and sisters...that one day all the children at the Bengalszone community would join together in prognastacating future games...

That men would not be judged on the girth of their wastebands, but the quality of their picks...

That every man, woman, child and Ravens fan would come together in sweet revelry in attempts to allocate the true Oracle (as opposed to those of us who are self-claimed)

That 50 persons from across the nation and around the world would find it in their hearts and surfing schedule to bring their best guess as to the weekly outcomes of the greatest game on earth.

Big,

I've got a double listing -- please eliminate the second one. They are both under "Neighbor Entry 1"

Thanks

Can you keep a secret?

Those aren't my real picks, I just want to throw off all my fans! ;):P

OK, I won't tell anyone. ;)

well most people even the "experts" went below .500 in picks.

No kidding. Who would have thunk Miami, San Fran., Tampa, or Detroit winning? (well, except me of course, but I'm not so vain)

not surprised to see kirkendall at the top. good work. nice to see that the majority of people are pickin the bengals (no spread) to beat minnie. thought it was funny that NOBODY in our league picked the niners (or the browns, but that's understood). good luck next week fellers, and welcome back nick wil...er, luchey.

Everyone remember to make your week 2 picks before Sunday.

My subpar week one performance has me feeling rather sour, so it best improve!
