Who should be the Bengals starting safeties?

Completely agree. All of this KK has been doing great crap makes me wonder if I'm watching the same games as everyone else. KK is often right around the receiver to make the tackle (never challenges/defends a pass) and he has been missing tackles like nobody's business this preseason as well. And have you seen him take on blockers? Wow, just pathetic.

I heard that Herring is out for the year...dont know if its true ..trying to find a link on it.. if so we're in deep s**t...

KK is not an enforcer..seems a step to late on everything

Mitchel seems lost in coverage

Haze-Jones is raw.....

We need to trade Warrick and possible another player or draft pick for an experienced SS.. for that can at least play with some semblence of respectability.

I remember Herring getting knicked up a bit during the game, but it wasn't anything serious as far as I could tell. If he is hurt, we have a real problem on our hands.

Give it to myles mybe he'll step up like M.williams (if herring is hurt and out)

I too will have to go with Madieu at SS and Reggie Myles at FS.

I think Myles was out for Philly but there's no doubting his willingness to knock the f*ck out of people and he covered fairly well the few chances he got last year as a nickel back (especially vs. Heinz Ward).

If Myles gets suckered too much, you can always go to K2, but I think as long as ML wants these safeties to be able to interchange between the box and middle and deep coverage often in man, they'll have to stick w/ smaller, faster types.

Maybe Mitchell does something I dunno. He did play some last year but doesn't look like he'll do in coverage at all.

If it all turns to sh*t, play Landon Johnson. :D

Madieu at FS thats all that matters.....talk of madieu to SS is off base I think...

Lewis will use a combo of guys at SS, Mitchell, Myles, Herring, and see how it goes..

could see some packages with smith, geathers, thorton, robinson....pollack, simmons, johnson, thurman....williams, oneal, james....with thurman or johnson as a rover????

I think putting Kaesviharn in at free safety and switching Madieu to strong safety

i think it should be the other way around. regardless, the bengals still need a ss, via free agency or the draft. the guys we got now are too small. maybe next year.

Madieu at Free, some angry looking drunk fan from the stands plucked out of the stands at 12:30 on game day to play strong safety.

Then, when he drunkenly doesn't cover a receiver on a deep ball to start the game, at least there will be a reason.
