schnarfer Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 Obviously the writing is on the wall for P-dub..Now the question is will he get released or traded? Does he any trade value at all? It is ashame because of his potential but the "what have you done for me lately" is going to spell the end for P-Dub as a Bengal...By monday it is safe to say Warrick is no longer in cincinnati.. ackley1 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 i don't think we could get much in a trade. he'll be cut.did tab play tonight? Quote
JPW Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I don't think that anything is obvious concerning the Warrick situation. And I don't see how anything has changed in that situation tonight. Quote
schnarfer Posted August 27, 2005 Author Report Posted August 27, 2005 They have shelved him, he is gone by monday.. Quote
membengal Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I would note, by the way, this makes the 425835th seperate thread on Warrick in the last three days.Later, I will start one to document his farts. Quote
JPW Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 did tab play tonight?I don't think so, if he did he didn't catch a pass.Does that mean that he is obviously gone to ?? Quote
JPW Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 They have shelved him, he is gone by monday..They have shelved him ?He was a game time decision as was Kelley Washington as was Tab Perry.I don't believe any of them played. Quote
turningpoint Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 i think there's room for warrick in the 65 man roster, and i think he'll have a shot at making the team on friday vs indy....show he can play again....at least i hope so. Quote
cincy9275 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 i don't think warrick is going anywhere after last nights game . tj has stone hands and washington is very unreliable Quote
Kazkal Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 Hell mybe the bengals are doing it on purpose so people don't suspect them in the reg season,I rather lose preseason games then win em (vs patriots last year) and finish 8-8 again Quote
HoosierCat Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I actually think Warrick got a boost from last night, thanks to the s**t play by our alleged Nos. 1 and 2. If Chad and TJ were a couple of guys fighting for that last roster spot (like Walter, Russell, and Broussard) both of them would have played they way off the team last night. And if I hear Chad say "It's just preseason, we'll get it right" one more time -- which he did again after last night -- I may punch a hole in my wall. Yeah, yeah, yeah Chad, you've been saying that for three fargin' weeks. How about fewer promises and more catches? You've had all of the offseason camps, all of training camp, and three preseason games and you can't catch crap; T.O. has held out, created all sorts of problems, not practiced, and he walks on the field and torches the D like it was a Pop Warner squad. Quote
JohnsonX5 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 Yeah, maybe Chad and Rosenhaus can renegotiate a contract that's more in line with receivers who drop balls and don't get their feet in bounds on touchdown catches. Last night was unlike Chad, though, and I expect him to bounce back.I still say Pdub makes the team. No way he gets cut when we trim down to 65 imo either. Quote
schweinhart Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 Hell mybe the bengals are doing it on purpose so people don't suspect them in the reg season,I rather lose preseason games then win em (vs patriots last year) and finish 8-8 again This is very interesting. What little I saw of last night's game, the Bengals went to Schobel over the middle too short to move the chains. No help there from the WRs.They really would benefit from having a bonafide slot WR who can get the separation to find the soft spot quick far enough downfield to move the chains. P-Dub could proly hop and do that better than any of the other Bengals WRs. Quote
walzav29 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 After watching TJ drop al those passes and the ball bounce off of Chad's swelled head I say why not keep Warrick? He can catcg sometimes. He needs to quit being a wuss and practice for a week. Quote
MARVIN=W'S Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I change my mind on this every day, but after last night I say he stays. Our alleged depth @ WR, I don't know if I believe. T.J. looks like last year was a fluke he's returning to the T.J. we all remember. Chad will be fine but it's time to show it a little. KW who knows what you'll get with that guy. The only WRs I've been happy with are Kevin Walter and Chris Henry, they need PDubb to produce IF he can stay healthy. Quote
