  1. 1. Pick the Cards in the NFC West

    • In the cellar. Warner is washed up and they won't beat the 'Niners again this year.
      2
    • Same as last year. Only because the 'Niners haven't improved enough to win anymore games than they did last season.
      3
    • With Warner now starting instead of McClown, the offensive weapons at the WR positions will be better utilized. They move up into 2nd behind Seattle.
      10
    • With the defense and the offense drastically improved under proven Head Coach Dennis Green, the usually downtrodden Cardinals win the weak NFC West, and do the unheard of in Arizona. GO TO THE PLAYOFFS!!

I'm just wondering how the rest of the world see this team. Being a Bengals fan, I can easily identify with the fans out here, and they seem to accept my presence with out so much as much as a remark like "You like the BENGALS!?!"

I've been dropping by their practice field daily on the way home from work (5 minutes from the front door!) and watching an improved team work out, so take it from me...don't be surprised if they too go to the playoffs. Both the Cardinals and the Bengals are farrrrrrrrr overdue! :player:

**Excuse the less than perfect images. If don't screw 'em up while taking them, I do it when I'm editing them down from the huge bitmaps they originally were!

I've always liked Dennis Green. I think the Cards are very thin at alot of positions, but have enough talent and a soft enough schedule to win the west at 9 - 7.

Alot of positions? Linebacker I'll agree with, but I'm not seeing too much "Thinness" anyplace else. Then again thats just me!

They're deep at kicker, right?

They have a deep recieving corps too!

Their top draft pick #21 CB Antrelle Rolle

But the biggest difference in this team is THIS guy:

The Cards will be improved, but Warner hasn't had a good season in a long time, and frankly, I think what he did with the Rams was more a product of system and supporting cast than him. His backup, Bulger, took up the torch as if there was nothing missing.

Arrington will help too, but the Oline isn't going to give anyone a lot of time from what I see.

Fortunately, the 49rs are the Browns of their division this year and we can laugh at them. Give them some time for Navarre to be coached up by Denny, and they'll be able to move into second place in the division.

No way they win the division. Seattle's defense is improved, and I'm expecting big things from the West Side native, Matt Hasselbeck.

Navarre!?! He's barely hanging on to 3rd string! He almost lost it to Chang out of Hawaii!!

I think this is a tough one. They could go 10-6 and just as easily go 5-11. Warner is a question mark andf so is the running back position. I think the key will be their offensive line. they have a rookie running back that needs holes and a QB that needs time to throw. Give Warner four seconds and he is as good as anyone.

The weak division will help them a lot

Their new Uni's look nice.

A lot better than ours.

are you nuts!

defenses know how to beat Warner, they better have an offensive line like Miami did when Marino got old or they are not going to win as many this year as they did last year.

*Psttt!* Let me let you in on a little secret here. The way I see it is NFL defenses know how to beat every QB in the league! That's why they watch a butt load of game films all week leading up to the game.

The problem is in the precise execution of that knowlege! New England does it to the "Almighty Peyton Manning" almost every time they play! Almost completely shutting him and the high powered Indy offense down.

Yet when they meet another QB (like Palmer for instance) with different/more/less strengths and weaknesses, they tend to struggle at times. Now granted, more teams will be able to contain a Kyle Boller than a Peyton Manning, but somewhere out there in the NFL is a team (maybe even two! ) that will not match up well with what Boller has to offer, and he will actually look competent!

OK, so they coach up Chang. In any case neither their first or second string QB is the answer. It's kinda like when we had our choice of crap for QBs over a decade. They just weren't the right guy to get it done.

Nice photos...I was up there for the scrimmage a couple weeks ago...took Nathan with me...his first camp....I rembember when my dad use to take me to Wilmington...now I know how he felt to see me so excited.

We took a ball and got the thing covered with autographs...all the players were very cool...especially Tim Chang and Robert Tate (a UC alumnus)...but Ronald McKinon, Larry Fitzgerald and Leonard Davis were cool too.

I wanted to meet Stepanovich, get that OSU signature on the ball, but he broke his hand and ended up in the locker room.

I think the Cards are going to have a solid year but seem to be a year or two away...not a player or two...just a little more experience.

I think you missed the point unless they can guarantee Warner does not get rushed into throwing like Boller the Cards are in for a long season of watching talented WR's get injured by bad throws from a scared QB.
