Bengals | Jones, Thornton Do Battle

Tue, 16 Aug 2005 14:13:03 -0700

Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals OLT Levi Jones and DT John Thornton got into a fight during the Monday, Aug. 15, morning practice. Jones had to be restrained by defensive line coach Jay Hayes.

While I can appreciate the aggression, I'm hoping no one gets hurt, as that would just be stupid !!!

WHODEY !!!

Normal practice in the NFL...it makes me laugh a little that stuff like that is even reported.

The past few days in Nashville we've been seeing clips of Albert Haynesworth falling on the ground during a fight and his stomach bouncing like a bowl of jello jigglers.

Darn well about time Levi started showing the attitude he had at Arizona St. I can remember him pummelling Terrell Suggs a few times in the line scrimmages. His nasty ass attitude carried over to the rest of the line and they did lead the Pac-10 in rushing his senior year. I look for good things from the left side of the offensive line this yeqr

All things considered that would be a useful skill in the current AFCN!

"Muhammad Alevi" Jones, anyone???

Dude needs to get nasty instead of underachieving. This is a good sign.
