I love the love fest on here. I know that I am a newbie here but I think this place is great. I used to split my time between bengalszone and another site but now i am exclusively bengalszone. I hope I didn't offend anyone by not including people. Cant wait for the season to start to listen to what you guys have to say. Not a problem. I realize my posts might be taken more seriously if I limited myself to discussing football in straight up fashion, but I'm not wired that way. So I post in a Hair-styled mix of serious stuff wrapped in jokes and insults that forces the reader to sort through the mess as best they can.

It can't be easy.

This morning I read that there was an article (more of just a summary though) on si.com. It is under the players that might have breakout seasons you never heard of. You will see the link. Just another example of getting better info. on insider, sorry guys.

This is a dumb debate since we're all fans, not rivals; but I'll bite anyway.

First of all the front page is up-to-date with newspaper sources around the country that talks Bengals (sometimes the Utah variety, but bengals none-the-less). We're also independent from any 3rd party site -- hosting our own forum, content, with several officials and media using BengalsZone as a source for the fan's pulse. We're ranked in the top-ten in Google news for Bengals oriented news and B24's shelf is littered with site awards, not only being one the best Bengals fan sites, but NFL overall.

As for timing of info? Nope, you're wrong again. We had a post here 6 minutes after it was announced on the official site, and seconds after that on the front page (blog area). As for articles from SI, or wherever, most agree, most of the content they spew, is already known with most fans here and gets repetitive.

OK, can we get off the "this Bengals site is better than that Bengals site"? It's really dumb and counter-productive.

I used to post at the insiders also, but i dont even check that site anymore. If you are talking about getting info quicker, the huddles is far more active then this forum or the insiders. Each one has their advantages and disadvantages. I find the zone to be a bit more laid back, which is why i mostly post here now.

Analysis from a rookie:

I find Insider to be full of knowledgeable but rabid fans that have little tolerance for anything or anybody with a different opinion, as opposed to the 'zone that seems to have equally knowledgeable but less rabid fans that are willing to discuss / debate an issue instead of spouting invectives and personal broadsides.

However, the 'zone has alot of run-on sentences.

Most importantly, I think the inventive posters here at Bengalzone are funny as sh!t.

Josh is absolutely right. I'd recommend CincyBengals.com, Bengalszone.com, BengalsInsider.com, to any true Bengals fan looking to talk about Cincy football with other like minded fans! They are all competitve :player: fan forums. I'm a member at all of them, but mainly I'm here, but that's basically because I found this place 1st and got "comfortable" here 1st as well. That's it!

I really have a hard time believing that anyone as docile, soft spoken, and peaceful as Spain is would ever be banned from a site. However he does add character to this site. Here's to character (holds up beer in toast).
