walzav29
I don't like the way he was talking about Chad and TJ. He said that no disrespect to TJ, but if he was in there TJ wouldn't have gotten the chance, he was also whining that the coaches don't design any plays for him. He said that Chad has to cry on the sidelines to get them. It just seemed kind of aggressive talk for a guy that hasn't matched either of those guys in production. I would prefer if he could.A. ShutupB. PlayBefore disrespecting teammates.
ArmyBengal
It sounds like P-Dub is "saying" the right things about coming back, being a team player, and he's all about winning... I found it interesting though, he said he was about the team after saying some of the other guys weren't. I also found it interesting how he made the comment about how there are no plays designed just for him. Comments I made in another post...WHODEY !!! TippCityRick
Pdub's frustrated, and I don't blame him. I run 5k races - 1 or 2 a month. Last year I was setting new records for me every time out (much like 2003 for PW). But in September I hurt my foot when I fell down the stairs. A year later I'm just now being able to run without pain in my foot, but my times aren't near where I was last year. It's frustrating cuz you know you can do it but your body won't let you. As far as placing blame elsewhere, PW has never understood that he's most dangerous in the slot. He's simply not fast enough or big enough to play on the outside consistantly. But I do agree with him that if he doesn't get hurt, TJ never sees a $12m payday.I wish Peter well, but I fear (and he does too) that his career has been irrevocably derailed. If he's not on the field soon, the Bengals have no choice but to cut him and move on. Not the ending any of us wanted.
The Big Orange
Peter has been with this league long enough to know that stuff like saying that Chad has temper tantrums if he doesn't get the ball much by the third quarter, is inflamatory and not good for the team. If he doesn't, he's stupid. And unless he really wants to be traded, saying stuff like the O doesn't have any plays designed for him downfield and saying he doesn't know how he fits in and what his role is, is just dumb.A few more articles like the one that showed up today on Bengals.com and the fans (and probably players, coaches, and management) will start to Dillonize him. Careful, P-dub...a guy who hasn't contributed s**t for a year and a half isn't in a position to make demands, accusations, or make comments which may be construed as derogatory to teammates. Especially when we can cut your unnecessary ass and save a butt-load of jack.
bengalboomer7
Come on guys, he's just speaking the truth. Cj does throw temper tantrums pretty frequently and TJ Never would even be here is Warrick didn't go down. And to be honest, I do find it at least a little suprising that they don't have one designed play for Warrick. No reverse, WR screen, nothing like that. I think he's alittle bitter cause he took a big risk to come back for the last game of 03, and he feels that because TJ had a good year and he was injured that his contributions were forgotten. I really believe if he's healthy, he will be a big time contributer for us. Probably not a lot of catches, but a good bit of touchdowns and a ton of third down conversions. I would really love to see him returning punts too.

Well, they don't have a play designed for me either...and as of right now, I have seen as much time on the practice field at Georgetown as Warrick has. derekshank
Did anyone see this yet?http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=2130403After all those comments, he might be forced to take a pay cut.
The Big Orange
Wow! That was an interesting article. He better renegotiate...2.2 Mil is way to much jack for how little we need him.

It might be nice if he didn't say the things he did, but I'm betting he's simply responding to endless questions about his health and future with the Bengals.....and it's tough trying to put a positive spin on that. Last, I'm not sure what to make out of the pay cut angle. If he's healthy he deserves to be paid. If he isn't, I don't think I'd want him at any price. dave
Well said, walzav29. Beyond ragging on his WR-mates, I'm tired of hearing the "if's" -- if he's healthy, he'll do this....if he hadn't gotten hurt, TJ wouldn't be where he is. As my dad used to say, "if a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass everytime he jumped."And I'm tired of hearing about this is the year he's going to show bring out the old FSU P-Dub. The glory days are over, bro...
jditty47
pdub is anything but annoying. the man is now healthy and they wont let him on the field...wouldnt u be frustrated? i would be. f**k, 2.2 mill and we wont even pay him for one f**kin year? fy mike brown. we better at the minimum trade him and get something in return like draft picks. Who says he's healthy? If I had a contract that said $2.2 million then I'd say I'm healthy too. He got paid a full salary to rehab last year and there's no way Mikey is going to pay him to rehab again this. Especially not at anything much above a minimum.Anybody remember what Warrick's bonus was? Then we might not feel so sorry for him.....I just did a little googling and found that his seven year contract was worth $42 million, so I feel no pity about his measly $2.2 million. kingwilly
Warrick's comment are that of a guy who is about to be sent packing. For us to really speculate on the topic of Warrick's intelligence begs our own. This is a guy who had to be coerced into getting contacts so he could see the ball well enough to catch it. Remember all those muffed punts? tibor75
I love how the blind retard gave himself a nickname - "P-Dub" and uses it himself. It was funny hearing how he was trying to get Chad to develop some "P-Dubbish" moves. Uh, you mean moves where u dance around for 5 seconds, losing yards in the process? Yeah, you're great at those. It's funny how many Bengal fans idolize the guy who has had 1 good game in his career.Hopefully we've seen his last game ever as a Bengal. Stripes
The last season he played was good as a whole, why always so negative Tibor?wasn't as good as Housh's year. Warrick had around the same number of catches, around 100 fewer yards, but 3 more TDs (in 2003). I do think Housh should be ahead of Warrick on the depth chart and on the field, but Warrick gives us that dimension that Housh does not. I want to see both of them out there contributing, and none of them whining about it.

Housh had Carson Palmer throwing to him, and P-Dub had Kitna...and the stats were similar in yards Pdub with 800+ and Housh with 900+
lando griffin
I'll tell you what, all the Warrick haters are straight up ignorant. There's so many things you get wrong...Housh is better...ummm, bulls**t! Just like the previous post said, TJ had Palmer, not Kitna, and TJ had no one expecting him to put up those numbers. Warrick was right that TJ wouldn't of had his career year if he wouldn't have been injured. I love TJ, but he's not Warrick. OKay, so you say Warrick is injured and hasn't done anything for a year and a half. Well, maybe the trainers working for a professional football team, or even a little common sense from a coach would advise Warrick not to jeopardize his career for playing against the Browns...s**t even if we made the playoff how far would we have gone with Kitna and the defense we had. Ok, so now Warrick has some stellar workout video from last Thursday, and he was cleared by doctors to play, he comes in to practice and they won't let him, or tell him why they won't??? Seems fishy to me....and it's not like he's a Dillon who's badmouthed the Bengals in the past. I may be wrong, but I've never heard any harsh negative comments from him about the Bengals until this week. He's always said he'd like to stay here. So how about all of you dickheads lay off Warrick, give him some respect, and act like he's been nothing but a good player to have in the organization for the past 4 years...which he has. Ickey44
The only negative thing I can remember him saying was that he wouldn't be a third string receiver, but he's since apologized for making that comment.
