I know it is not an insult, my wife is mexican. But when you assumed I was not spanish and a mexican because i'm in LA is when I will take serious offense! <_<

Besides, I don't know 1 mexican who say's they are spanish, it's usually the other way around because the rest of the US doesn't understand the differences...

LA why do you think your spainish? Mexicans are not Spainish we do not have any resembleances. Mexicans are more from the indigenous people from north america. Hell we dont even speak the same language! You speak spainish and we speak castellano or valenciano where I live. I always wonder why Mexicans say their spainish are you ashamed of being Mexican american? Spainish are very similar to what you think Italians would look like. Oh well!

Tis a beatiful day, last night in a drunken state I figured how to get free whores in europe! Anyone interested, any UK people this will work on the continent but not sure about your Island.

First get an american credit card (not sure if english will work)

Second cancel the credit card!

Third go the whore house after banks close. Check out the machine where they swipe the card.

Fourth pick a hot honey out and pay with the card.

How does this work you ask, the Banks are not connected so the transaction will be placed on the next day! It is also not illegal because the card is in your name! It is considerd a civil matter! I did it last night and had so much fun that after the first Romanian I decided to pay for two!

Vacation tips from Spain!

so spain which hooker did u choose big jim, renaldo, deuce or bubba?

:lol::lol::D:D

I don't know why you're all freaked out.  Justin Smith didn't sign til the day before the season started in his rookie year and still came in and got 8 1/2 sacks.

But he missed a regular season game.

True. My point is, if he's as talented and smart as advertised, it's no big deal. He'll pick it up quick. Aside from that, we've got more than enough capable players to play until he's ready to start.

True that.

Hey biggish guy, just thought I'd let you know that I skipped my usual burger today and ordered the salad. I even walked to the food shack instead of driving.

I do this because I've heard most forms of suffering are more tolerable when shared.

That said, I'm already feeling sort of weak and there may be a snickers bar in my immediate future.

per Bengals.com...

Meanwhile Thursday, the club appeared to be getting nowhere in contract talks with first-rounder David Pollack, and word is that Pollack may no longer even be in Cincinnati to wait out the contract negotiations and could be headed home.

Optimism still reigns despite the mystery surrounding Pollack’s deal. A source outside the club said there has been no progress. If they are close on guaranteed money, then they must be far away on how to earn it. But neither side is talking as Pollack is in danger of becoming the second straight first-rounder not to be on campus for Friday night’s intrasquad scrimmage.

"Close on guaranteed money, far away on how to earn it." Leaving aside how you earn money that's "guaranteed," Hobson's speculation has been on target in this thing so far. Which brings us back to the idea that the bengals want to give Pollack less money up front (to sign) and more in the form of bonuses (roster, workout, option) down the road.

Which is not necessarily a bad idea...but if there's a significant amount involved -- say a $4 million signing bonus vs. a $2 million bonus and 4 $500k roster bonus over the next four years -- then I don't expect Pollack to sign until about September.

All the people who are bashing Pollack must not belive in getting paid for what the job is worth. You get what you can get in for any profession. It just so happens his services are in demand in the NFL. His agent would not be doing his job if he didn't hold out for the best contract. Pollack will be in camp, he"ll get 10 sacks, you bashers will buy his jersey and say how great he is, and the BENGALS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS>WHO DEY!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This guy is scerwing our playfoff run for chump change, becasue he thinks his position is in demand. We have drafted K2 the sequel. I hope he wrecks his bike in the parking lot of a gay night club!

He needs to remember that he is the agent's customer, not the other way around, and demand a contract by a deadline, and if the deadline is not met, fire the guy.

The fact that he is letting the agent keep him out of camp and not controlling the situation directly is more than a little worrisome, seems opposite what I have been told of his intelligence and nature to sit back wait it out.

I blame the agent, as always, but I also blame the player for not making it clear to said agent that he needs to be in camp, for every practice. He's changing positions for god's sake!

David Pollack's agent PULLING him out of Cincinnati. Interesting use of language and sending him home GA according to article on Bengals.Com. I have a plan to deal with it all. Open my old friend Bacardi and a splash of Coke and relax. Don't worry be happy. :D:D

I just dumped some of that Bacardi into a blender full of ice and margarita mix....mmmmmm. Ah, yes, that's better! :D

As to Pollack, why not split? Pressure is all on the Bengals, if reports of the $9.5 million amount are correct. He could easily wake up tomorrow to find Erasmus James signed for $9.8 million and boom! Pollack is now in a $10 million slot.

Like I said a while back in another thread: this is shaping up to be one of the standard-brand Bengals holdouts, one of those patented snipe-fests that drags on all through August...and finally reaches resolution a day or three before the first regular season game when the Bengals cave and give the player everything they've sworn for six weeks he would not get...

So drink up! We're gonna be here a while. And for once, I'm not gonna get exercised over it. B)

EDIT: one other note, didn't realize until I scrolled back up: if you go up a few posts, you will find where I copy/pasted the ORIGINAL paragraph Hobson wrote, where there is only vague word of Pollack leaving. Now, suddenly, the story is rewritten (with no update indication, mind you) to place Pollack and his agent in a more unfavorable light: "pulled." Hmmmm...
