Jonboat Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 1360 am had, I believe, Seg Dennison who caught up with Pollack @ the Reds game. Pollack said his agent has been in town about 5 hrs talking with the Bengals & pollack went on to say he has been climbing the walls wanting to get a deal & get into camp. Seg asked him if not being in camp will hurt. Pollack said it sure wont help especially since he'll be in a new position. I know it's not any breaking news but I thought you may be interested. I'm hoping that since they've been talking face to face & his agent only arrived about 5 hrs ago maybe we might hear something during the game & with Pollack there @ the game it might be good publicity to announce it @ the game. It'd be a good way to introduce Pollack to Cincy! Who knows, but he didn't say anything negative as far as how the talks are going. GO BENGALS !!! Jonboat Quote

PalmerforPresident Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Which 2 of the 3 (Pollack, Thurman and Johnson) will start at LB in your opinions? Right now I'm thinking Thurman and Johnson, but there is a long way to go. Quote
Kazkal Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Well it seems that odell has to his spot first.so pollack better sign before that or he'll have to earn his sslb job Quote
Stripes Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 I think that all depends on their performances in the pre-season. I expect that on opening day, the starting three will be Simmons, Thurman, and Pollack. That was Marvin's original plan, and unless Pollack's holdout lasts much longer, he will stick to that plan.
