Stripes
I wonder if the oohs-and-aahs were in response to Perry throwing his helmet to the ground after it appeared he had dinged his groin again.Or maybe they happened when he jogged faster than a sprinting Rudi Johnson? Or caught a pass? Or evaded a tackler? I think you are the only "bengal fan" who would get excited when you see a player on your team get injured. Let us review the statistics of last year's season.Rudi Johnson: 361 Attempts, 1454 Yards (6th in the NFL, Bengals record), 12 TDs 15 Receptions, 84 Yards, 0 TDsChris Perry: 2 Attempts, 1 Yard, 0 TDs 3 Receptions, 33 yards, 0 TDsEven if Perry plays well this year, Rudi is our guy. Long term contract, franchise record, pro bowl appearance. 'Nuff said.

That's pretty stupid, but most of the things you say are. I'm pulling for Perry to do well. I want to see him healthy. He's a Bengal. But I think it's ridiculous to count on him for much until he proves himself. And yeah, that meant I felt you were being moronic for insisting that the Bengals wave goodbye to Rudi this offseason. The threat of Perry reinjuring himself is far too great, and he knows it. In fact, it's why he threw his helmet to the ground in frustration. BengalszoneBilly
I think it's ridiculous to count on him for much until he proves himself. Like Hairy said, the proof is still being waited upon. College doesn't count. The NFL is the same in the shape of the ball only. The "proof" is in the pudding Pushy, and Perry has hasn't made enough for a pudding pop!
ArmyBengal
God, I so hope Perry lives up to all the expectations and potential surrounding him. Who knows what is going to happen with this. I think the tandem of the two is what we are looking for and hope like hell we have two backs that rush for 1000 yards each and push each other to compete harder... A bruiser and someone light on their feet with mad catching abilities... Sounds nice to me !!!WHODEY !!!
