redsbengalsbucks
With Brushci already sidelined for the season, Ted Johnson retiring leaves NE with no starting inside LB's. Does anyone know who will be replacing these long time starters? They better hope they can replace these players and keep winning or they will quickly see the true nature of Corey Dillion. AMC
It doesn't matter because Belichick's a genius. Unfortunately so....He'll turn this kid Biesel into an All-Pro LB probably...
Kazkal
Brady will play ILB with QB and be known as best ILB in the league because he has 3 superbowl rings and that is all that matters
schweinhart
It doesn't matter because Belichick's a genius. Unfortunately so....He'll turn this kid Biesel into an All-Pro LB probably... He's good w/ squeezing the last bit out of old LBs too. And the dropoff from Bruschi to Chad Brown or Monty Biesel proly won't seem like much more than it was from Ty Law to Troy Brown.Still, the Pats look to me like they're headed for doom this year. Everything appears to be falling apart for Belichick -- his coordinators gone, his wife split, the heart of hi front 7 on D out.Maybe he somehow motivates his players beyond belief this year and the Pats vie again. But I doubt it. His time has passed.
AMC
Pats reupped Vrabel and Jarvis Green...They seem to resign the players that fit their system at the best price...

CBin2k7
I don't understand the Brady hatred. There is nothing you can do to discredit what Brady has accomplished. 9-0 in playoff games, speaks for itself. If the Pats win this year then Bellichick is a genius. Stripes
I think Bellicheck's "genius" will be put to the test this year. It is difficult to make any defensive scheme work without the proper personnel, and even Bill the Mighty knows that (remember Cleveland?) schweinhart
Well the biggest test of Bill the Genius will proly be his playcalling on offense. Apparently, the calls are his to make so to will be the adjustments during the game. No doubt Brady helps to ease the transition and having a back the caliber of Dillon will make it easier for the Pats to slow the game down and concentrate on middle routes with their WRs and Graham. Defensively, the last I heard Eugene Wilson was staying at CB rather than FS. I think that hurts them deep and over the middle because Wilson has impeccable timing on the hit when he's running the range. They lose nothing on the D-Line regardless of Seymour IMO, but LB remains a wait and see w/o Bruschi.Still a formidable team but hopefully the flux early on costs them games and starts to unravel the dynasty once and for all. It'd be nice if a pre-season game were any indication of things to come but obviously after last year's Bengals clubbing of the Pats, it don't mean nothing. bengalboomer7
I don't really have any beef with Brady. I think his "skills" are overrated, but W's make up for that. I just want to stop all the Bellichek butt kissin'
jditty47
why? he just won 3 of 4. he deserves some buttkissin.
CBin2k7
I am a little tired of the Pats as well but they do it better than most. How many teams can win the super bowl, after losing their top 2 CB's during the season and their FS in the Super Bowl game.Samuel is very underrated, but still. And Brady just doesn't make mistakes. He may not have the best skills, but he translates well as a winner.
