off topic but I found it funny

Interestingly enough, the only problem the Raiders have encountered with signing any of their draft picks is with their sixth-rounder, defensive tackle Taj Hawthorne, who was projected as a first-day pick before he ran into some personal problems. His agent and the Raiders are no longer even speaking. But how hard can it be to slot a salary for a sixth-round pick? Get it done, Taj, and get into camp.

Hahahaha owned for smoking the grass with jditty.

Add the Steelers 1st round pick...they just signed him...

Pittsburgh Steelers: Continuing the momentum created with Monday's flurry of signings, the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday reached agreement with first-round tight end Heath Miller, the 30th player chosen overall in this year's draft.

The former University of Virginia star, the lone tight end selected in the opening round, will sign a five-year, $6.89 million contract. The deal, principally negotiated by Ken Kremer of IMG Football, includes guaranteed bonuses totaling $4.54 million.

It's easier for teams like Pittsburgh and New England to sign first round picks - not only because the players are excited to go to a competitive team, but their slots in the draft are closer to the second round. Those first 15 picks are the hardest, which is why everyone barely starts talking until the first overall pick is signed.

Bengals.com reports that the team hopes to have Henry and Ghiuciac signed by Wednesday but Odell and DP's signings could go beyond that.
