The Brew Man Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Ok, guys, nows your chance to pick who you think will be in the big game. Im going with Philly to beat Kansas City.....although its hard to pick against the Patriots... Quote
Kirkendall Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Yea, I'm going Pats over St. Louis. However, in my preseason picks (for another website) I picked Titans over St. Louis. Quote
Arizona Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Battle of the Birds, Ravens over Eagles 17-10 Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 i like the eagles over the pats Quote
halp Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 denver kicks ass on the road then outlasts st. louis in a definite over: den 48 st. louis 45 Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 notice something weird the last three years we played the team that won the super bowl, 00 the ravens, 01 the pats, 02 the bucs, weird huh? Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 so lets see who's still in the running then... the rams, seahawks, ravens, and the chiefs i believe Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 I'm picking the Ravens over the Rams, 28-17, on the back of Jamal Lewis. Go AFC North, Go Ravens! Quote
richmond_mat Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 I'm picking the Ravens over the Rams, 28-17, on the back of Jamal Lewis. Go AFC North, Go Ravens! As much as I was raised to dislike modell, I'm with you Billy. The ravens are in and they have the best D. If they get strong special teams play then who knows what will happen. Go AFC North. Quote
B24 Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 I'd say it'll be Titans over the Eagles. I'm usually wrong though. Quote
Arizona Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 Oh guys...I appreciate the support...I'm getting all Dick Vermeil over here... Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Man!! Sorry to jinx you guy's Arizona and Jam31! Although I cannot believe Jamal got held to a fraction of his ususal yardage!! Quote
Kirkendall Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Seems like to me Matt Cavanaugh (or whoever calls the plays) tried to out think the Titans all game instead of attacking. Oh well, great season Raven fans, looks like we are on the same level now. Now you can start looking at the Cincy-Balty battles of 2004. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I'd say it'll be Titans over the Eagles. I'm usually wrong though. No B24...I'M the one who's usually wrong. It's Sunday morning and so far your picks are still valid!! Quote
richmond_mat Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 With the advantage of being late,The pack is back, and they're going to win it all. Maybe they'll beat the pats.My two cents: Green Bay all the way! Quote
kevnz Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I'll chip in as well. I say it'll be the colts over the Eagles....Or any of the other 3 AFC teams over the Eagles...Though if I was a gambling man I'd put a small wager on the Panthers making it all the way (but not winning, remember, the NFC stands for No Freaking Chance) Quote

Pats...... has all the makings of a boring game,,,,or does it? Quote

chrishcovga Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Actually i'm expecting a blowout this year. Sure Carolina has a good defense and a good running game. They even have a decent core of wide recievers. But... The pats are just plain and simply beating teams up and down the field. Actually before the players take the field. Ol' Bill is simply putting his players in positions to make plays before the ball is snapped. John Fox simply beat a weak nfc this year. The Rams won nine straight with a quarterback that threw more interceptions than touchdowns. The eagles continual losses of free-agency,injuries, and i'm sensing a " i don't want to play for Andy Reid" mentality creeping into that stadium; finally caught up with them.Carolina is simply the best that the NFC could throw into the superbowl mix this year, The New England Patriots are simply the best overall team in the N.F.L. this year.Patriots 36 Panthers 13 Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 I just read on "Google News" that the official "Playstation" website has predicted a Panthers win after playing the two teams head to head in a series of game tests! Quote
