Just wondering what does bengals.com need to improve on. IMO the biggest thing I think they need to improve is the message board (If you call that Jungle Noise a message board)

Like I said in the other thread:

With you and the boy's working on some solid graphics, our writers writing actual interesting articles, and myself working in a REAL forum, we'd have that s**thole looking good in no time!  :player:

the overall look.

My dad started a website design company and he worked with 2 of his friends they maintained like 10 sites at a time that all looked better than that. For a few thousand dollars my dad (though he doesn't do it anymore) could make an incredible website for the Bengals (like some of the better team sites like the Patriots for example).

Yeah I agree with both of you, I am going to college to be a web designer, and when I graduate the bengals are going to be one place I send my resume`.

The forum definitely, I like it, but it can be improved. Haha I really do enjoy coming here, it's a nice forum.

We must be doing something right if we're getting compliments from Browns fans!

I think they really need a comprehensive "history" section. Not just stats, a few blurbs about the season, but something that enlightens new fans on the team's history. More than they have now at least.

Thanks for the compliment, Browns fans...I don't know why there isn't a link to other forums like ours, especially when theirs suck so bad...

Maybe they're embaressed of their own. But maybe Chad's and Carson's official site would link us. Along with the Enquirer and Dayton Daily.

They are in dire need of more HOMER-ISM, as well as a less intelligent and much rowdier fan base. Most importantly, readers that spell gooder.

So how do we do that effectively? Send 'em to Cleveland?

You know the prison schools have done wonders with a whole bunch of illiterate Ravens.

Personally, I like Bengals.com as is.

So you like "Jungle Noise?" You're kidding, right?

I don't bother with Jungle Noise. But make no mistake, Bengals.com will never have an un-edited, official instant posting forum. There are too many Barbarians out there.

And too many "Scooters"...er, I mean "Shooters" too. People that bring nothing but a foul attitude, and no football talk. None.

I think they need to redo the entire web site. It looks cheap, like the owner of the team. Look at the other NFL web sites and they look well thought out with much more information and better graphics. If I had to rank Bengals.com against the rest of the NFL, it would rank last on the list.

I found this while searching for bengals pictures. Was this an old site design or something? http://a.parsons.edu/~stauch/spring_2004/NFL/bengals_v09.jpg

No, it's not. That would've been sweet though. Bengals.com has never looked that good. I actually think the site design now is worse than the old one and the old one wasn't that great to begin with.

I thought Bengals.com had won an award as being the best NFL team site a couple of years ago (straight after the revamp)?

Just goes to show that if you stand still you go backwards.

I'd like to see a Mike Brown "Question and Answer" section where a topic could be broached and the reply came straight from the horses mouth.

Also a photo section of nude cheerleaders.

The best thing about the site is that you click on it and your right there. The important things like news and updates are right there. Check out some other sites and see how hard it is to find up to the minute info and news. Not alit of advertising.

its a good site. yes it could be upgraded looks wise, but depth wise its the best in the nfl.

I think the Browns website won the best NFL website, it's really good, I have never been the the Bengals one though.
