Sweep no question. If we played them away later in the year, I think that it would be a bit harder. We've got that "new" and nervous team 1st game this year. No way they win. No way.

Split.

BALSPHOMY! Et tu Brute...Joisey, say it ain't so...You mind removing that knife from my back, I may need it later.

No way we split...if we do I'll...I'll...I'll eat a salad AAAAAAARRRRRGGHHHHHHHHH!!!

Browns shall be smitten down for their transgressions and taunting and every time the word "Bungles" has ever come out of there mouth.

58 points was just the warm up.

By the end of the game our guys will play without shoes and helmets just to make it fair.

It will be a basketball score on our side and a soccer score on theirs.

Quincy Wilson and Tab Perry and Bramlett will be our starters...Fanene will be a superstar that game.

We'll assume rugby rules half way in just for kicks.

Mike Brown will be dancing naked on the sidelines!

It will be Jubilee my friends...They will play the entire game as an NFL Films blooper real following the Browns players.

I'm Ready!!! Put me in coach...I'm fat, put me on the line.

Hey, I just calls 'em as I sees 'em. We're 6-6 vs. the Browns v2.0, and we haven't won 2 in the same year since their 1999 expansion season. I think the Bengals ought to win both games, I think they're the better team...but I also think the Clowns are going to be less laughable than a lot of folks give them credit for.

FWIW, I do think we'll sweep Pitt. :player:

Your not going to sweep Pittsburgh, there's no way in hell.

Is there a way in heaven?

Nope, there is no way anywhere.

I actually thought they would do good, and unlike everyone else, I thought the Bengals would miss out on the playoffs by a slim margin again.

Most people thought that the Bengals, with the loss of Cory Dillon and with a 1st year starter at QB, would be taking a step backwards last season.

So that was a good call on your part ...

We may well have swept them last year if it hadn't been for a combination of boneheaded mistakes and help from the zebras. The Bengals led 17-14 in the 4th quarter of the first game, in Pitt, before a totally bogus pass interference call on Tory James turned an, at best, long FG try into a 1st-and-goal on the one and subsequent TD. And so down by four in the final minutes, Palmer pressed and threw a pick right to Polamalu, which went the other way for a TD.

Second time around, in Cincy, the Bengals again led 14-10 in the 3rd, before the stripes decided to call 80 yards in second-half penalties against us, including some WTF? holding calls on our wideouts. Even with all that and 2 free points safety to boot, the Steelers only won 19-14.

Pitt never came close to dominating us last season. Think what you want but I like our chances.
