Scottishbengal Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 The draft will take place when all the team spaces are filled - only 3 left at the present time. Quote

bengal4life Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 I'm in the same boat you are Spain, this is my first fantasy league. I've got a lot of friends in it thou. Yahoo has all the rules on the website to answer all your questions. I could possibly help you with some miner questions if you need help just ask. Quote
jungleboy73 Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 I'm in........never played before, but I'll try anything once...twice, if my wife isn't involved Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 I'll play if a spot os still there, never played fantasy Quote
Scottishbengal Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 Just one place left guys 'n' girls.Playing is REALLY simple - once your team is registrered (free) you can either rank the players in the draft yourslef, or stick with the computerised option. Each week of the regular season (weeks 1 to 13 I think, the remainders being for the fantasy league playoffs) your players score points and you can watch your team climb (or more likely in my case spiral down) the league.Rules are shown on the Yahoo site - it really is easy and good fun. Last year Bengalszone had two leagues, this year it's 4 so you can see how popular it's becoming. Quote
DesperateDerelict Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 Scotty - Do we want to change this to an off-line league, allowing us to draft via the 'zone? Here's what Yahoo says:What is an offline draft? In an offline draft, your league conducts its own draft without the aid of the Yahoo! Sports computers (via telephone, in a meeting, via email, etc.) The format of an offline draft is up to the league commissioner and managers. When the draft is done, the league commissioner must submit the results to us via the Submit Draft Results option available on his/her Commissioner Tools page. The waiver priority list for leagues using the offline draft method is initially set by the reverse of the order in which teams joined the league. So, the last team to join the league will have the highest waiver claim priority position and so on. The commissioner can adjust the waiver order using the commissioner tools. Also, please note that no teams will be able to join or leave a league once any portion of the draft results have been entered. Quote

DontPushMe Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 You should do a live draft. The timer is 1:30 to make a pick, and if someone doesnt show up it just picks for them using the autopick rankings. Quote
