shatan
OFFENSIVE ADJUSTMENTS: The unit is built around strong-armed QB Carson Palmer, and coordinator Bob Bratkowski is determined to open things up and allow his gunslinger to use all the weapons surrounding him. The club wants to build leads with a quick-strike passing game and then milk the clock in the fourth quarter by having bruising TB Rudi Johnson move the chains. The attack mode will include an empty backfield, three wideouts and two tight ends for a seven-man protection scheme that will give Palmer the time to find Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and either Peter Warrick or Kelley Washington.http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/team?statsId=

You can go with the old Erikson Miami formation with 3 WRs, TE and an RB, or just simply bring back June Jones and the Run and Shoot. Put Chad and Chris Henry out wide, PW and TJ in the slots, with Rudi or Perry in the backfield. Do a lot of timing patterns with 3 and 5 step drops, run a lot of inside draws and traps with play action and you'll shred defenses.
Kazkal
Aye I like the idea of 3 3 WR 1 TE + 1rb too though if Schobell is one of the TE's i'm happy
Jet23
I think the Bengals will be more ball controlled than most people think. They have the potential to be a high powered offense, which is fun to watch, but how many run and shoot or red gun offenses went to the Super Bowl? That would be none. As great as Peyton is, no bowls. I would like to see more of a 80,s Niner and Bills type offense, but that will depend on how fast ML can build his defense. I also think Craig K. can be valuable as Carson's eventual backup. The guy is not fast, but he knows when to run ala Kenny Anderson
The Big Orange
Good to hear from you Satan...I admire your work..I wish just one of these rags would talk about Chad, TJ, and Warrick as the starters and Chris Henry as the 4th...ready to move in if/when one of these boys go down. Can they not see that Kelly (Barbie's little sister) has one foot out the door...then treat him as such. Chris Henry has more than passed and only a healthy Warrick will keep him form being the number 3.

cHaD711Johnson
I think you have it backwards...P-DUB will have more yards while Housh will have more catches, being that P-DUB is more of a big play guy than Housh

Plenty of passing offense teams go to and win super bowls. Before last year the pats were a passing offense, the eagles have always been a passing offense, same with the packers when they were in the super bowl, and the rams, i could probly find more but its not worth the time. Our franchise will be built around the arm of carson palmer and the speed and receiving skills of chad johnson, not around a mediocre slow RB who struggles to average 4 ypc consistently. He simply can't get over the fact he's gone and someone else had to take his place.

You guys let RJs nice personality overshadow the fact that hes not very good on sundays.
AMC
Get a lead and pound the ball.4th quarter Rudi vs. tired defense = ??????? WINI think this offense may be amazingly balanced. Just hope there is more of a TE threat over the middle if Warrick is not 100%.BUT, sounded like Marvin's big focus is on defensive playmaking and turnovers. Let the defense give the offense good field position and let it roll.Is there any truth to the saying, "you can score too quickly?" Need to give the D a rest??? :player: :player: :player: :player:
Kazkal
Mybe they could start chris perry 1st/2nd qrter and do 3wr 1te 1rb and then Rudi 3rd/4th qrter
sodikart
Mybe they could start chris perry 1st/2nd qrter and do 3wr 1te 1rb and then Rudi 3rd/4th qrter I like what Kazal said that would be pretty sweet. I kind of agree with DPM because hes right Rudi is a pounder and will never have a very high ypc as some of the top 5 backs. But i don't know if i would want another rb to have the ball in the fourth quarter, to protect the ball and run the clock out, more than Rudi.
