bengalsLB Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 jonhson played great last year but i think thurman has a real shot of wining the jobhe is really learning the system quick and the most reps since webster and johnson are banged up. Quote
walshfan Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I thing thurman will start the regular season as the starting MLB. He has the mentality for it since thats all he's ever played.. He's learning the playbook very quickly too... all the lb's are going to get alot of PT on the field this season. Its' a nice delimma to have wouldnt you think? Quote
bengalsLB Posted June 2, 2005 Author Report Posted June 2, 2005 yeah , i always thought of landon as simmons eventual replacementi can't wait to thurman in a real game Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I personally hope Landon starts out playing as well early in preseason as he did last season, and Odell beats him out! Quote
bengalsLB Posted June 2, 2005 Author Report Posted June 2, 2005 i think odell is the next ray lewis....hell he would have been picked around the same slot if pollock was of the boradat 48 he is a steal Quote
Kazkal Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I say 1st down johnson 2nd down thurman 3rd down both of them and pollack at end Quote
bengalsLB Posted June 2, 2005 Author Report Posted June 2, 2005 1st down thurman 2 down johnson 3 down simmons and johnson Quote
Kazkal Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 That works too but I bet you'll see both on 3rds because pollack will be end then possible drop back to a 3-4 LB Quote
Spain Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Odell will when this one, he is more of a natural mlb however I bet Landon starts the season. Quote
jditty47 Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 webster with odell backing him up. landon backing up simmons and miller backing up pollack with abdullah backing all 3. Quote
NJ29 Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 webster with odell backing him up. landon backing up simmons and miller backing up pollack with abdullah backing all 3. Sounds like a plan to me. Quote
membengal Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 yeah , i always thought of landon as simmons eventual replacementi can't wait to thurman in a real game What you said.ditty, webster is simply going to be unable to go, so I don't see him as a factor at MLB.johnson is gonna eventually push simmons to the door and thurman has the middle.
