chazf73
I think Chad, and Willie are locks....added to the list this year...Levi Jones, Eric Steinbach, Carson Palmer, on offense. Robert Geathers ( my surprise for this year), and Madieu Williams. Any others? 7 is a good number for the AFC NORTH CHAMPIONS>>>>>WHO FRICKEN DEY
The_Next_Big_Thing
Chad, Willie, and Madieu are the only ones I see going. Sorry, but even if we went 16-0 the idiots out there voting for scrubs on their local teams in New York, California, etc. would STILL get others in the pro bowl. ArmyBengal
On the O-side I see Chad and Willie with Carson as a possible. Lets not forget Rudi in the mix either. On the D-side, it is a toss up. If Madieu can repeat last year, maybe. If O'Neal gets a few more picks, maybe. If the new LBs produce, who knows ?? If the D steps up big, you could name a few who could go. I know that sounds obvious, however, Smith and Simmons come to mind as benefitting from a stout D.WHODEY !!!

bengalskyspy
I have a feeling this will be the year J Smith goes. They are maneuvering the defense to give him the chance to have a freakish year, finally fulfilling his great potential. You can tell he is ready to go off. Deltha Oneal will also return to pre-eminence a go the Pro Bowl, with a stout rush disrupting QB's each week.Offense will send CJ, RJ, WA, and maybe ES. The_Next_Big_Thing
On the O-side I see Chad and Willie with Carson as a possible. Lets not forget Rudi in the mix either. No way Rudi makes it unless he has a 3000 yard season.Competition at running back in the AFC is FIERCE. They only take 3 running backs to the pro bowl, and he has to go up against Curtis Martin, Corey Dillon, Edgerdin James, LaDanian Tomlinson, Fred Taylor, Domanick Davis, Willis McGahee, Chris Brown, Jamal Lewis, Priest Holmes, and Duce Staley. Was Martin's rejuvenated season last year an aberation? Will Corey continue to be a star in New England and not decide he'd rather steam hotdogs than play for the world champs? Will James take advantage of the Colts passing attack to continue to rise? Will Jamal Lewis find a buyer for his coke? What will a healthy Priest Holmes look like?So many questions, and 2/3rds of these players get way more hype than Rudi, they anti-hype. I am very curious to see how Rudi does playing a full season running against weaker defenses, unlike last year, not to mention returning a healthy O-line for him to run behind. It might all go up in smoke, but have to think just the opposite. Tell me this doesn't intrigue you just a little bit... DPM, no need to reply as we already know Rudi sucks and won't be the starter past the second game as Perry is the next coming of Christ... If the next coming of Christ comment offended anyone, please disregard and accept my apologies !!! Here's hoping for 6 probowlers next year, but will settle for a SuperBowl championship !!! :player: :player: :player: They will go hand in hand...WHODEY !!! DontPushMe
HAHAHA, yea rudi johnson might make it... if the first 8 RBs invited decide not to go!
HairOnFire
I think Chris Perry will soon try his hand at becoming a professional bowler. Not sure if that counts, but there it is.
bengalboy40
willie and chad surely...pollack, madieu or o'neal on defense...i think jeremi johnson could make it too...the running game will be great this year, and jeremi might get the love for that, although when it comes to fan voting, they don't have too many discriminating stats for fb's...he's a good runner, so if he gets a few td's and 300 yds or so, while helpin rudi run for another 1400 or so and double-digit td's, he might get the bid...but fans vote for the names they recognize when it comes to fb... Ickeyshuffler
I say Chad has a monster year with enough help to quell the constant double teams. After that, Willie, maybe Carson, and on D I'd say Madieu, O'neill, and possibly JSmith or Bsimmons.Simmons deserves one after all these years, but fans never vote right so i guess I doubt it. bengalindian
I know Chad and Willie for sure on offense. The reason that Carson Palmer's 98.9 Passer Rating and 32 TDs won't make it is three fold: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Some other QB who doesnt' deserve it as much as Carson does. Rudi won't make it unless he has a 2,000 yard season b/c the AFC is stacked at RB. On defense, Madieu, Justin Smith and Deltha would be awesome. Sleeper? Tab Perry on ST. DontPushMe
Madieu wont make it, hes not flashy enough.Oneil? Simmons? Justin Smith? Rudi Johnson? Landon Johnson? Come on guys, kill the homerism. Chad and Willie will probly make it, and Palmer might if he has a big year. Mediocre (Oneil, Simmons, RJ) and non flashy (landon Johnson, Justin Smith, Madieu) players dont make the pro bowl. And Eric Steinbach wont make it either. Hes not good enough. And another thing, Chris Perry has a better chance at making the pro bowl (actually making it, not getting in because 3 RBs dropped out) then Rudi Johnson. RJ we have seen the best of, and its just average, Perry, if he takes over the starting spot, would put up much better numbers.

I think the only way DPM could write funnier posts is if he included pictures of naked fat men or screwing snow. Seriously, in one breath it's...guys, kill the homerism...and in the next he champions the presumably very "flashy" Chris Perry for the Pro Bowl. The same Chris Perry who had more injuries than rushing yards last season. Hey, Rudi Johnson has actually played in a Pro Bowl. Meanwhile, Chris Perry was last seen playing with himself in the trainers room.
