chrishcovga
Say what you will about rookies not making an impact and it being about the future, but did we already forget last year ?? How many rookies made HUGE impacts, especially on the D side of the ball ?? Madieu, Ratliff, Landon, Jumpy Jr., come on now... I have to think once again our coaches know more about this than I and the majority of us on this board, but then again, what do you think Chris ??? I'm happy as hell and am loving the undrafted FAs to this point !!! Most were calling for the playoffs this year "BEFORE" the draft, we get some added help with our defense (Might not be PERFECT), but help none the less and now we question our ability to make the playoffs ?? WTF ?? I'm sticking with the whole trust in ML, as I'm sure he knows more than myself !!!WHODEY !!! Madieu and Ratliff were reaches, but I still had Cincy' taking them in my mocks
schweinhart
Pittsburgh's draft intrigues me. If Miller become Heap-like (and Winslow isn't a huge bust for the Browns), then Cincy will be the only team in the division without a major TE. In a way, that makes it easier to defend each teamPollack will hopefully be a handful for any of those guys to block, but a much bigger question is who's going to defend against the TE? That's a good question. Gotta figure Landon at MLB on seam routes until safety help gets there because no one else would have the speed...and it will take more speed than quickness to keep up w/ a Miller, Heap, or Winslow deep down the seam.Crosses and the flats would be up to whichever LB is lined up against them for the most part. That'll be the biggest adjustment Pollack will have to make from DE. Thurman should hang all right when he's in.
