BengalPappaw
Okay -- I take a shot at my wish list (First and second choice, if first isn't there) I used Kiper's list by rounds to determine who might be available.Round1. David Pollack or Mark Clayton 2. David Baas or Chris Spencer3. Fred Gibson or Alex Smith TE4. Tab Perry or Elton Brown 5. Kirk Morrison or Richie Incognito6. Ronald Fields or Maurice Clarett 7. Ben WilkersonTomorrow by this time we will have the first three or four (with trades) pick

Indycat
Davis gone to NO at 16Round 1 (24) TE - Heath Miller (trade with GB add pick 51)I can't see that happening IMO. Another player with a hernia? Who has blocking issues?Miller may drop to the 2nd or 3rd (who knows), no way would I even think about spending #17 on him, or even 24.I guess we have a difference of opinion Miller is a good blocker, an every down TE.Miller has never missed a start because of injury. BengalszoneBilly
Hey, good luck with that. The way some of you guys worry about everything, including what might happen after a little success, makes me wonder if some of you wouldn't be happier if you finally stepped off of the ledge. Just pick out which car you want to land on...step forward...and set yourselves free. (Helpful Hint: Try aiming for a Chevy Lumina.) Man...we seriously need a "sarcasm" button above, like we do for "bold," and "italic," buttons already there. Possibly making the desired text appear to be dripping, like the saying goes "dripping in sarcasm."
Whur CHad At?
Trent Cole's stock has risen to maybe late second round. He's a stud. Draft him.
schweinhart
One final stab at who Bengals get in draft....Trades be damned.1. Thomas Davis SS/LB2. Darryl Blackstock SSLB3. Kirk Morrison MLB4. Brandon Jacobs RB/FB/TE5. Rob Hunt C6. Calvin Armstrong LT7. Kelvin Hayden CB No " run stuffing " DT ??????????? or are you looking at Askew to fill that role ??? Pickings DTs would have been more ideal last year because the crop was better. There's a handful this year who would start at DT for Bengals or be the first off the bench and actually be an improvement IMO...Travis Johnson, Luis Castillo, Shaun Cody, Mike Patterson, Attiyah Ellison, Jonathan Babineaux, and Ronald Fields. But the Bengals signed Bryan Robinson, which lessens the chance they pick a more likely immediate starter like Johnson or Castillo. They signed Carl Powell this year and Bid Duane rolled a 2 year contract extension before the start of 2004, which could lessen the chance of picking a DE/DT type like Babineaux or Shaun Cody. But Powell and Clemons are only signed through the 2005 season so if Babineaux is still there in 3rd, I hope they take him.The most intriguing DT prospects in the draft IMO are Ellison and Fields because they both have the quickness and balance to stunt and have the size and power to jam the line. If Ellison is still there in 3rd or Fields in the 5th, the bengals might look harder but it sure looks to me like ML has cast his die at DT, especially w/ Askew...the supposed 1st rounder this year if he hadn't declared. Chad Johnson
I care not unless we TRADE UP FOR ONCE AND GET DERRICK JOHNSON! nobody else in this drafte could be a better fit for us and be more of an impact player.
