jditty47 Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 is about to be released...do we make a run for him? yay or nay?my vote is yay. Quote
StripesNTn Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 i thin khe wants to much, is injury prone etc.. If he wants to sign for a reasonable number sign him, pray he is healthy and draft a mlb in the 2nd round Quote
jditty47 Posted April 21, 2005 Author Report Posted April 21, 2005 well ya...i wouldnt pay him much, but he'd be nice for depth if we are looking to cut hardy or webster.... Quote
HairOnFire Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 Why not draft his little brother....or failing that....sign him as an undrafted FA? No kidding, Van Brown is a USC transfer who finally landed at Northwest Oklahoma State. Obviously I haven't seen him play a lick, but I have seen him show up on a DE sleeper list that claimed his measurables (6-6, 277) and production were outstanding. Damn, the draft can't get here fast enough....because I've got a head full of worthless information that's just begging to be flushed. Quote
jjakq27 Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 I say yes. Having another one of Marvin's guys can't hurt, can it? Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted April 21, 2005 Report Posted April 21, 2005 Brown doesn't really fit the system here and is on his last legs, I say there's little chance of it happening, might as well keep Hardy. Quote
HairOnFire Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 It seems like Chad Brown has targeted Green Bay and Denver as the teams he'd most like to play for. Funny thing though, his agent stated that Chad will watch the draft closely because of his interest in playing for whatever team drafts his brother. That news prompted me to do a search on KFFL and wouldn't you know it...Van Brown was one of the players the Bengals have brought in for a visit. Quote
