Section 310
http://www.thehuddlereport.com/top100/index.shtmlThe above link shows the accuracy of the various mockdrafts available on the internet. I do not have a subscriptionto get to Kiper or Pro Football Weekly, but the top fiveare as follows:1. NFL Draft Countdown- Bengals T. Johnson2. Kiper3. The Red Zone- Bengals T. Johnson4. Rick Gosselin- Bengals T. Davis5. ProFootball WeeklyI am becoming convinced that Lewis is going to count onAskew, Robinson, Geathers and Moore to help out thefront four this season. I think he is going to seek a playmakerat SS or LB in Round 1. I just don't think that Travis Johnsonhas the attitude and motor that Lewis seems to love.I say Rounds 1 to 3 go LB, C, TE. bnglsfan26
that doesn't tell you anything. Anyone can give you a list of the top 100 players. The key is picking them to the right team . That's like saying "well the Eagles, Falcons, Jets, Colts, Ravens, and Broncos will all make the playoffs next year." Well that's nice, but which two are going to play in the Super Bowl? TJJackson
Rounds 1-3 in no particular order: 3 of the following 5: DE, C, LB, S, WR (albeit I don't personally think they should be drafting a WR)(C to me is the only MUST on day 1)Rounds 4-7 in no particular order: 4 of the following 6:whatever positions got skipped in 1-3, TE, OL (but not C), CB (of of Marvin's statement of today that CB was back on his list for the draft), FB. Each of these players will be top athletes with some marks against them (lack of experience, injuries) who can prolly play on special teams right away.I don't see the Bengals taking a DT this draft, as they need to give Langston, Matthias, and the other two young DTS a chance to show what they have this year. I think one or more of them will emerge, particularly Langston, who I thought put up a good show for a rookie in his 8 starts.I have hopes the Bengals will trade down from 17 and pick up some high val day one picks as a result. Whur CHad At?
Trust me, if Williamson is there, we will take him. I really don't want a WR either, but if he's there expect ML to be all over that

BengalszoneBilly
MOCK DRAFTS - are scored (S) 1 point for each player correctly placed in the first round (P) and 2 points for each player matched to correct team (M). When tied the mock with most matches ranks higher.Well that's a completely bulls**t scoring system. It should be one point per correct draft pick going to predicted team. Nothing else should count. TJJackson
Have to disagree, BB Let's say the mockers all make a pick for the Bengals at 17. Marvin wants, oh, let's say S Brodney Pool (just for this example, not a vote for or against this player). Pool is probably a late rounder, so marvin trades down 5-10 spots and still gets him.The mock writer(s) who picked Pool to go to the Bengals at 17 should still get credit for picking the guy the Bengals actually selected regardless of whether he went at 17 or at 22-27, or wherever, as long as he goes to the Bengals as predicted.Your thoughts? Well that would still be a correct pick I would say, even though it moved from the #17 spot to a few spots lower. The forecasted player still went to the predicted team. Actually a pick that moved, and you still nailed it should then get you the big "2" points. That seems much harder to do to me than a straight up pick would be.
