Whur CHad At?
I just don't see the Bengals making this move. They are going to over pay Rudi
oldschooler
I just don't see the Bengals making this move. They are going to over pay RudiSo what is a RB worth that fits your system, carries theball more times than any other RB in franchise history (because there was no1 else to hand the ball to) sets the frachise record for rushing yards, ties the franchise record for most 100 yard games in a season (with 5) and did all of that with a QB that had never take a snap in the nfl, a banged up O-line that had it`s best player (Willie) playing on 1 knee most of the season and playing 11 games against top 10 defenses ? He has had 4 fumbles in 593 carries. That is 1 fumble every 148.25 carries... Rudi deserves to get paid...he had as many 1st down runs as TJ had catches (73) http://snap.stats.com/stats/nflinfo/leader...k=008&Submit=GoHe was 2nd in the NFL average yards per carry when he had 21+ Carrieshttp://snap.stats.com/stats/nflinfo/leader...k=085&Submit=GoHe was tied for 6th with the most runs for 10+ yards. http://snap.stats.com/stats/nflinfo/leader...k=069&Submit=GoHe is only 25 years old...he can get even better... Ox
I totally agree Oldschooler. The man does deserve to get paid. How nice was it to have a capable and dare I say, elite, running back to break Leon's record a season after he left? It is a shame that we are left in limbo about his long term situation as of now, but I have a feeling that will take care of itself after Rudi's up coming seasons production. Maybe I will be wrong but I think Rudi has a hellovalot of potential.
Scottishbengal
I'm quite happy to see Rudi get a s**tload of a contract, providing it's heavily laiden with incentives/bonuses. Do the deed, reap the seed!
ArmyBengal
No need to get rid of Perry... Small cap hit. To say we don't need him is ridiculous. Can you imagine Perry (If his potential is realized) and Rudi in the backfield together with Chad and TJ on the outs ?? Where do you begin to think of covering that ?? Wow, isn't it nice to have options as opposed to deperation ??WHODEY !!!
Whur CHad At?
Because there are rumors that there could be a three way trade, involving the bengals, colts and bears, with the bengals getting Edge.I did some research and no one says anything about that.from prosportsdaily.comJames' agent fans fireMarch 12St. Petersburg Times (Scroll Down): " While the Bucs downplayed their interest in trading for Colts running back Edgerrin James, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, continued to fan the fire. 'We are interested in Edgerrin playing for the Dolphins, the Bucs, the Cardinals, the 49ers and potentially for the Chicago Bears, Houston and Cleveland,' Rosenhaus said on ESPN Radio."Don't see our name on there.
