isn't he the one who missed his coverage .that caused our safety to come up and cover suggs while andre davis went uncoverd for 99yard touchdown. wew this is the best signing yet

I do not know about that but in my opinion, Marcus Wilkins was easily the best special teams player that we had last year. I for one am very pleased that he is signed.

The Bengals today signed linebacker Marcus Wilkins, one of the team's restricted free agents, to a one-year contract. Wilkins will be a fourth-year player this season. He played in 16 games for the Bengals in 2004 after being acquired on waivers from Arizona on Sept. 1. He led the special teams in tackles with 24 total (17 solo), while also adding a team-high two special teams fumble recoveries.

And one of those recoveries was, of course, the muffed punt that started the 24-point comeback in Baltimore. Glad we hung on to him.
