I for one am very pleased that he is signed.
Kirkendall
Love Wilkins. Glad to see him back... led the team in tackles on special teams and fumble recoveries? He's the man! Bengals.comThe Bengals today signed linebacker Marcus Wilkins, one of the team's restricted free agents, to a one-year contract. Wilkins will be a fourth-year player this season. He played in 16 games for the Bengals in 2004 after being acquired on waivers from Arizona on Sept. 1. He led the special teams in tackles with 24 total (17 solo), while also adding a team-high two special teams fumble recoveries.

And one of those recoveries was, of course, the muffed punt that started the 24-point comeback in Baltimore. Glad we hung on to him.
TJJackson
Great move. Second best special teams player on the team after Reggie Myles, and with blazing speed at the linebacker position. That said...bad move to only sign him for a year...... schweinhart
Wonder why terms weren't disclosed? Something more than the lowball RFA tender for Wilkins?Maybe another team offered more than the tender. Either way, Wilkins is great on special teams. But ML seemed to go more with Larry Stevens than Wilkins on D.
