HoosierCat
http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/footbal...ack=3&cset=true$10 million SB & $30 million overall for Gary Baxter??? I don't know what's funnier, that the Ravens screwed up or that the Browns paid that much!
schweinhart
Too bad he stays in the North. Baxter is a versatile DB.

No wonder stupidity runs rampant in the "mistake by the lake"!But that smell isn't the lake...it's the stink of a 3-13 season waiting to happen. HoosierCat
I dunno. The Clowns finally have a coach with a brain and they're making some decent moves. The latest...Browns | Coleman Agrees to Deal - from www.KFFL.comTue, 8 Mar 2005 10:07:47 -0800ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports free agent OG Cosey Coleman (Buccaneers) has reached a contract agreement with the Cleveland Browns. The two-year deal, with incentives, could be worth up to $3 million. It also includes a $500,000 signing bonus. So that's 2 new guards, and they have Verba on one end, who's decent when healthy. Faine is a ? in the middle but they could easily grab a good center in the third round. Rebuilding the o-line is a very smart move; give Green some holes and Dilfer some time and they'll make some plays. On the defense they got rid of Warren (an improvement) and while they overpaid for Baxter he's a decent player.Crennel has a ton of work to do, probably more than Marvin did when he started. At least Marvin inherited an offense with Dillon, Chad, Rudi, Kitna, Willie, Levi, Braham, TJ, and Warrick. Didn't need much more than a better QB than Kitna and we got that in Palmer. Crennel has d**k on both sides of the ball. But he's starting his rebuild in the right place, the lines. The Clowns are gonna get better... BengalNation1281
I think they'll get better...sometime. maybe. They are definitely making decent moves, but it's going to take a lot to crawl out of the hole that they put themselves in. But, unlike most around here, I like the Dilfer signing and think that he will be able to do some good for them.
