Kirkendall
Clayton released a report on how much $ all 32 teams are under the cap. The Bengals are $8.6 mil.http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor...john&id=2004973
Whur CHad At?
is that with the T.J. and Rudi deals or not. Because if we have that much money why aren't we spending it.
CTBengalsFan
with the TJ deal, but remember Rudi hasn't signed the tender yet.
HoosierCat
It still counts against the cap, tho, just like the RFA tenders.
Whur CHad At?
So we are screwed is that what your saying?
HoosierCat
No, I'm saying the Bengals have more cap space than they admit (not really a big surprise, it's to their benefit not to show all their cards, after all). As further evidence, look at all these visits: Trotter, Robinson, Thomas. According to bengals.com's numbers, signing TJ tapped us down to nothing; why then this parade of people we don't have the money to sign? Whur CHad At?
good point. Why do the Bengal's do this though? No other teams do this. It just seems so wierd. We need to listen to John Clayton rather than Hobson i guess.
