TROLL
dude what the f**k would you know about the situation? nothing. stop talking. no one cares. No one cares? Everyone on this website cares about Dillon, why do you think there are currently five different threads started all about him?
HoosierCat
Corey is now earnestly trying to make a fresh start of it, but then this guy from back in Cincinnati just dumps on him from afar. Did you even read the article? It's great that Dillon has found his inner bliss in New England. Patriots coach Bill Belichick has a habit of teaching team football and getting everyone to play nice together. Dillon has adapted well. Good for him. That's "dumping" on Dillon? If so, then even CD's most ardent defender around here, TubThumper, is dumping on Dillon, he's said the same thing.Daughtery isn't dumping on Dillon, he's laughing at the fairy tale being constructed around him by the likes of ESPN: The Magazine. No one would deny that the Bengals' inept management and coaching contributed to Dillon's discontent -- but Corey was hardly some wonderful human being who was ground down by losing. Indeed, as Daughtery and others have pointed out, Corey started acting like Corey long before he lost his first game in a Bengals uniform. Heck, his first action as a Bengal was to blow off the team so he could go sulk about not being a first-round selection! As for Dillon the "team players," that's a howler of the first order to anyone who followed him in Cincy. The ESPN: The Magazine story mentioned something about Bengals fans calling him "Corey Villain." CD was called a lot of things during his time in Cincy, but never, to my my knowledge, Corey Villain. However, in those days before "Leon" became short-hand for self-centered players, Corey was widely referred to as "Me-me". That's because every time he opened his mouth it was me-me-me-I-I-I-me-me-me-I-I-I. Even his defenders (and I was among them) wondered if his vocabulary included the word "team," since he never used it.

TubThumper
I loved the article. Just shows the bitterness runs dry and deep for that Daugherty guy. He must be going through a divorce and having some tough times. I just dont understand why he is writing about the guy and Dillon doesn't even play for them anymore??? You can really tell that it bothers him that Dillon is having success and only beause Dillon wanted to leave for greener pasturesCorey is now earnestly trying to make a fresh start of it, but then this guy from back in Cincinnati just dumps on him from afar. It seems that if it were up to this Daugherty guy, no one would ever allowed a chance to redeem themselves. And just no appreciation of the fact that no matter what, Dillon always played hard. He wouldn't have those records if he didn't. Something to ponder....I wonder how many skeletons Daugherty has in his closet or anyone else for that matter?Get over Daugherty, write about your bengals, Dillon is a Patriot. You're right. They just don't get it around here. This town would be much better if they did.

BengalszoneBilly
You're right. They just don't get it around here. This town would be much better if they did. TubHumper, Pushy, and all you other Corey/Patriots bandwagon jumpin' zealots...We do get it! Cincinnati (a.k.a. this town, and not the Montgomery Gentry album title!) has been there, and done that with a great running back named Corey Dillon! But here's the facts...Dillon isn't a Bengal anymore. Would you like to argue everyone reading this right now isn't happy about it!?! I didn't think so.And just in case you're a little too dense to figure this out on your own...being a great running back in the N.F.L. doesn't automatically make you a great person! These two qualities are very far removed from each other! Congrats to Corey on going to the Super Bowl. A player with his ability deserves it. I'm sorry I can't say the same for a player with his moral qualities! To make a long boring story short...I'm tired of all your posts which are totally redundant! We've dropped it, but you won't! So, as a moderator, I promise all the good members here at Bengalszone that you have endured the last of this crap! If I see it again...two things will go bye-bye. The first thing is the post. You figure out the other.

BengalszoneBilly
...and the crowd began chanting, "Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy, Billy..." Whoa it up guy's! I appreciate your support, but I wasn't shooting for this. I just think it's wayyyy past time for all this Corey Dillon talk to end!! He is a New England Patriot right now, and honestly, I hope they win the Super Bowl! They represent the A.F.C., and the Bengals are in the A.F.C., which is good enough for me, aside from the fact that I think they are undeniably the best team in football. IMHO, we need to be taking notes here, not trying to tear down a person who was traded to a fine organization, and during which he exhibited human faults! Sure...he was a jerk, a dick, a f**ckin' a**hole!! But I must admit to my Bengal brothers...I find myself living in a glass house on these charges!Let me just finish by saying if I never saw the words "Corey Dillon", and "Cincinnati Bengals" together again in a sentence...that would be just fine with me. TROLL
But here's the facts...Dillon isn't a Bengal anymore. What? I had no idea! All these threads devoted to him, such as "Corey Dillon, the crybaby", "A different perspective on Dillon", "Overjoyed", "AWESOME Diss on CD", and all of these threads are contained in the "Cincinnati Bengals" forum, he must be a Bengal! You're a funny troll, TROLL. "Overjoyed" was started by "Pushy", and the other threads were a response to pro-Corey/anti-Cincy posts from other threads. And your point was....? Do you too want to keep beating this dead freakin' horse? Is that all you bring here? Look at the ENTIRE lineup of topics in the forums. Corey is but a small fraction of those. Well did you see it? It's called the big picture, and it show's here every night. You don't have to buy a ticket...we'll even let you in for free.
