JPW Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 Well it Will Change starting next year.... Quote
Chucktkd Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 With all the injuries the rookies got more playing time and will be more seasoned than usual. No doubt Marv will get a stud DT and another as backup...With the Rats declining and us improving I see us in the playoffs next year at least as a wild card. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 We'll be watching Palmer vs. Manning in the postseason soon enough. Quote
Tiger Stripes Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 im ready for next year and this ones not even over yet. Quote

Skilly McRailnob Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 The first game was frustrating knowing that we could beat both of those teams. Quote

turningpoint Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 Man if we make the playoffs, i just hope we don't pull a Chargers, they looked so promising to advance far into the playoffs, but weere upset at home. I'm sorry, but no playoffs is better then a 1st round home loss. That's just a heartbreaker, i couldn't imagine a playoff lose( i seriously can't since i'm only 20 LOL) it would just suck. Quote

FG @ home for the win. Doh! Glad the Bengals' have a consistent kicker like Graham when I see that garbage. Quote
turningpoint Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 EXACTLY! man i wouldn't be able to sleep if i have to deal with that s**t. Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 I'm sorry, but no playoffs is better then a 1st round home loss. That's highly debatable. There is prestige involved by just getting there. That's just a heartbreaker, i couldn't imagine a playoff lose( i seriously can't since i'm only 20 LOL) it would just suckThen thank God you weren't around/old enough for the Super Bowl losses! You don't know what heartbreak is my friend...especially the '88 loss. I lost a living room window due to throwing the remote control through it! Hopefully you'll never know. For your sake, my sake, as well as the Bengals! I don't think I could handle another. How did the Bill's handle all those consecutive losses!?! Yikes!! Maybe that's what made their fans that visited here so hard to get along with! Quote
San Antonio Bengal Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 You don't know what heartbreak is my friend...especially the '88 loss. I lost a living room window due to throwing the remote control through it!That was probably the worst loss of any organization I follow. There were times when my team lost out in the playoffs or was soundly beaten in the championship game, but nothing compares to Superbowl XXIII. You're ahead with just a couple minutes left and well... the rest of you know the long, sad story. There was always next year and next year was 8 - 8 and then 9 - 7 and little did we know what 1991 would bring. Superbowl XXIII had the greatest chance for Superbowl greatness and the greatest heartbreak all rolled into one. Even to this day, I still detest the 49ers. May the 49ers be blessed with years of losing to come. Quote
