bengalboomer7
Yeah I can't believe the attendance the last couple of weeks, so what if we're out of the playoffs, I need my bengals fix Sorry, that statement makes me laugh so mush because of a test I'm doing with my co worker here. I made a statement in all seroiusness that Starbucks is just as bad ans adictive as crack!! I know I know it's a pretty bold statement but just try this. Drink some kind of starbucks everyday for two or three weeks then completely cut yourself off for a few days. This guys withdrawal symptoms make it seem like hes coming off a herione binge or something Sorry, I guess it's funnier in person
jditty47
rudi shouldnt have won the mvp award by any means.
HoosierCat
rudi shouldnt have won the mvp award by any means. I wouldn't say by any means. Just because I don't think he's worth a mountain of money doesn't mean I don't realize what he's done this year. And he has had a tremendous year.Personally, I would give the MVP nod to TJ. If he hadn't stepped up the way he did in the wake of Warrick's injury, there's no way that we win half the games we did.But anyhow, props to Rudi. Now let's see you bust the franchise rushing record Sunday. :player:
redsfan2
Simmons won the "good guy" award. whatever the hell that is and Rudi won the MVP(interesting, huh) It's for performance on the field AND good work in the community. Actually, I think it's pretty neat that he won it. Speaks well of him and the organization. I remember Wyche taking his daughters along on food give aways in the Over the Rhine area when he was the head coach. I know it sounds corny, but a lot of these guys either forget where they came from or use their new found money and status to expand the operations they were into in their hi school daze. Good to see guys get recognized for their good deeds.Of course the down side would be to pull a Warren Moon ..... a day or 2 after winning the NFL's Man of The Year Award, he was arrested for beating the hell out of his wife
bengalboomer7
I didn't know that about Moon
ShulaSteakhouse
rudi shouldnt have won the mvp award by any means. Yeah I'm sure there's no personal bias there.Soooo if Rudi breaks the franchise single season rushing record he still shouldn't win the award "by any means?" Cmon. jditty47
id give it to willie, tj, or chad b4 rudi. a record is nothing compared to an impact. If willie, chad, not so much tj, were out, we'd be f**ked. we'd be fine with watson in the backfield.
