ShulaSteakhouse
I can see myself cursing the TV screen watching Kitna Sunday already.
jjakq27
I unerstand it is a sprained knee, but we need him to play. I say tape it up and go in. If Farve can play with a broken thumb on his throwing hand, I'm sure he'd play with a sprained knee. I'm probably just bitter because I have TJ and Johnson in fantasy football, but dammit I want to see a 4 td game from the Golden boy. It may not be his call. TubThumper
The indication I get is that Palmer wanted to go back in last Sunday but the coaches pulled him on the doctor's advice. I get the sense that he might see the sense in his not playing this Sunday, but if he sits out any more, it will be strictly on orders of the coach and the doctor. I don't know why people spend their time doubting this kid.

BengalsOwn
Favre would be in playoff contention right now, unlike Carson (unfortunately).

You're virtually out of the playoffs, why screw up your franchise player for years to come to try to play spoiler? If you can't win this game with a number 2 that started all of last year, you've got bigger problems anyway. Some of these career-ending injuries happen when a guy's ability to react is slowed by a previous injury. I believe that's what happened to Gale Sayers. There's a time to jeopardize your investment and a time not to. This is not the time.
bengalady
I agree with you there!! Palmer should call it a season and let the others take over from here. We are going to need him next season, and I know the coaches will make the right decision.Besides, Kitna is more then capable of pulling this out. The_Next_Big_Thing
Getting over an injury and getting back on the field is good mentally. Being able to overcome this injury and going out and winning would be much better than losing confidence because you can't finish what you started. I don't think he will lose confidence, Jon will not let that happen. If Palmer was going to lose confidence, I would think he would have done it last year when he was benched. I don't think this will affect him mentally. He is pretty even minded.
TubThumper
If he recovers well enough, I think it would be good for him to finish the season, but this game is too soon to worry about it.

Palmer has more then impressed everyone. All I am saying is if it means risking a further injury, Kitna is more then capable give us the winning record. Palmer has layed out the ground work.
