playoff chances from an outsider

All I know is the Bengals defense did not give up 32 points to Miami's offense...

But you did give up 48 to the Browns where Kelly Holcomb went 30-39, 413 yards and 5 touchdowns.

The Browns put up 20 on Baltimore's D to win their opener.

They rang up 31 on Philly and took the Eagles to OT.

We needed 58 points to beat them.

Maybe you ought to be a bit more concerned about the Bills game this week as opposed to the one next week...

I am concerned about every game the Bills play overlooking any opponent would be stupid. I was just reminding that poster that the Bengals gave up big scores against inferior opponents just like the Bills have this season.

I have grown up in the Buffalo area and have observed the Bills go from one extreme to the next. They were good, then really bad, then went to 4 straight Super Bowls(no matter that they lost...they got to 4 in a row which is unheard of) and have watched them decline all over again. This is a team that the Bengals could be seeing a lot of over the next few years. Both teams are in an upward climb having amassed some talent and found a head coach who knows what to do with that talent. However, the Bengals have a younger team and may be able to stick around a little longer.

Players like Takeo Spikes, London Fletcher, Sam Adams, Troy Vincent, Drew Bledsoe, and co. are not going to be around for long. There is some young talent there, but Bills fans have to know that the next few years are going to be their shot. Lee Evans, Willis McGahee, Terrance McGhee, Nate Clements, and Pat Williams(if you can keep him) are going to be good for the Bills for a long time...but will J.P. Losman be able to lead the team? Is Mike Williams going to thrive or be too much of a problem child? How does the rest of the offensive line and defensive line measure up for the long run?

The Bengals have a young group of talented players who are just beginning to realize their potential, and a coach who has proven he can pick gems out of a draft. The Bills are going to have to come into PBS and deal with a team that has improved each week since their opener, and who play even better when they are home. The defense will be ready, they had an off game against the Browns, the game was an anomaly much like the Dolphins game was for the Bills. The offensive is extremely explosive and can take advantage of a defense as good as the Bills.

I'm going with the Bengals at home, no blowout, no shootout. Both teams will have enough at stake to play it close, but the Bills are going to get a first-hand look at what the Bengals future will be. Who Dey gonna Beat Dem Bengals!! :player:

Never forget the words of Chris Berman of ESPN - No one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills!!!!!!!!!!

And don't forget these either:

Q: What does the word "Bills" stand for?

A: Boy

....I

....Love

....Losing

....Superbowls

Wasn't it 4 straight!?! Holy crap!! I'm surprised there wasn't wholesale suicide after the last one on the scale that would make Jonestown look like minor incident!

I'll guarantee you if the Bengals ever get to the Superbowl again and lose...that's it for me. In the mouth goes the barrel of my .45 auto and BLAM!!! Brains everywhere.

Yeah, and I hate the guts out of the late, repeat felon Lewis Billups. Think what the poor Bills bastid fans must feel like.

Maybe ol' Ralph has got posters out on the payroll just to make things seem not as bad as they really are :lol::lol:
