HoosierCat
Forgive me if someone has noticed this already but jeeze! We're 11.5-point underdogs this week?!?! Yo, Vegas, we did put up 85 flippin' points the last 2 weeks! I was betting we might come in at 8 or 9 point dogs, maybe 10 at the outside, but Marvin ought to tape "11.5 point dogs" to every defensive jersey on the team all week in practice! Talk about bulletin board material, the bookies just took a dump on the team! :player:
jditty47
um one win in 15 years on the road vs a winning team doesnt change a perception. Also NE is raping fools at home. Bengals coming in at 6-6 and a virtual unknown on how they will play prolly served that 11.5 pt dog up.
schweinhart
This sounds like the makings of a prediction thread For right now, I'll say Bengals cover spread.
chrishcovga
Any gambler will tell you, Big points equal Big losers .. unless it's like the Oklahoma Sooners vs. Troy St. then take the points by all means The Half just signifies it won't be a tie, so since we can rule out a tie between the Bengals and Pats, whoever Wins it'll be by seven !Cincy 31 Pats 24 ! schweinhart
Cincy 31 Pats 24 ! Atta guru! That's the sh*t I'm talking about I'll hang another day or 2 for the injury reports, but I'm heading you're way of thinking. Bengals W and 55 pts. Kirkendall
I don't mean to endorse betting, but I may put a few hundred on this one. There's NO way the Bengals will lose by 11.5.... (if they lose)
membengal
Actually, this is the strangest NFL week for point spreads I have seen in a long time. They are high across the board...for you bettors out there, not a week to feel good about things. If a gun was held to my head (and the mortgage), I would take the Bengals +11.5...that is a ton of points for 6-6 team with a decent offense to be getting. Even at NE.
The_Next_Big_Thing
Wow, anyone know a bookie who will take a bet in favor of the Bengals by that spread? I'd take the Bengals without points!
kevnz
I'm thinking of heading down to the TAB (betting is legal here) to put some money on the Bengals with that kinda spread.
WhoDey42
I really doubt that we will lose by that much (if we lose). But if the team doesnt show up like they have been known to do a couple games this season... that may not be that far fetched. But I think we'll play lights out. I'm tryin somethin new and not making any predictions this week. Only prediction is that Rudi will out rush CD. :player: WHO DEY! :player:

CJBestInAFC
Yeah the Bengals are playing with a lot of poise. They are starting to do some great things. I do think the Patriots will make turnovers. Especially when they try and test Deltha and Tory. Corey will get his, and think he will out rush Rudi. I just don't think we will be able to run the ball effectively on NE. Just like we didn't run it very effective against the Ravens. I do think the NE secondary will be exploited in this game. They don't have the athletes to compete with the Bengals WRs. Oline will continue to play great this game, and Palmer could have the best day as a pro. I like 85 deep all day. "Lets go let it fly."
