HoosierCat
PS: Corey managed to injure himself just in time to avoid playing us! Yeah, I heard them mention that on espn, out the whole second half with a thigh bruise or something like that. All I can say is that it couldn't happen to a nicer guy at a nicer time... JPW: yep, the durned Steelers finally did something right! I was worried there for a while, tho. Now let's see if they can give us a hand in their game against the Ravens... kingwilly
It is now Sunday night, I'm 3 into a 6 of Sam Adams winter brew and I caught myself looking at the schedules for Denver, Jax, Buffalo and the Ravens. Playoffs...the Jets have the first wildcard wrapped.Godammit! I will not be sucked into the worlds biggest vacuum, the Bengals post-season hopes. Watch us beat NE and then lose out, totally crushing the already miniscule hopes of us B-fans all over the USA (world?).While I am not about to hop on the playoff mind-warp, I will say our schedule and path seems no more or less difficult than the rest of the also-rans and we are playing with some real FIRE. I will also shout out a big Thank You to Dick LeBeau and the Squealers for holding off JAX. Just a smidgen, a glimmer of hope for us to take that final slot.Crap...Spinning the Playoff scenarios is now going to consume my spare waking minutes. Don't sweat it King Just think of it as Bengals got to beat Ravens for 2nd wildcard, which means Bengals have to have a better record than Ravens due to Ravens better record in division. The game next week vs. Pats will be the Bengals equivalent of a conference title game. Here's my last Warsteiner of night cheers to no let down by Bengals and another week w/ playoff life and the prospects of another helluva ballgame.Who Dey! :player:
The_Next_Big_Thing
Here's the easy way to look at it!Bengals MUST win out! IF we do that, we can worry about who has to lose in week 16 while the Eagles give us the game while resting their stars!

Ox
I think Leon - oops I mean Corey has too much pride to not play his old teammates this Sunday. The main thing I am looking forward to is his excuse when Madieu forces him to cough the pig up. I swear it pisses me off just thinking about Dillion, he's such a cancer. He will sit on the bench if he has any choice whatsoever. Do you think he "bruised his thigh" just enough that he could pull a 100 yarder out last week and then sit on accident? The dude is a freaking whiny baby, we saw that last year... He was fine to go until Rudi was doing better then he pouted and sat and said he hurt.f**k Leon!
