BengalBax
Per Hobson:The Bengals' secondary that has helped force a NFL-best 24 turnovers went without starting left cornerback Deltha O'Neal for Sunday's game with AFC North leader Pittsburgh. It looks like rookie Keiwan Ratliff, a second-rounder out of Florida, makes his first NFL start against a Steelers offense that has the third best passer and second leading receiver in the AFC. O'Neal, out with an elbow injury from last week in Washington, has two interceptions this season. Man, that is PAINFUL. This could be disaster. Let's hope Keiwan steps it up today like Landon/others have.
WhoDey93285
That's devastating. Man, I didn't think that his elbow would keep him out. Not looking to good now.
BengalszoneBilly
Man, that is PAINFUL. This could be disaster. Let's hope Keiwan steps it up today like Landon/others have. Painful ain't the word! Freakin' SCARY might be. We NEED him today!
schweinhart
Definitely don't help.Show time for Keiwan.1st game vs. Steelers was odd in that Terrell Roberts started game w/ Bengals in nickel. Regie Myles ended up w/ a lot of PT and got matched up a few times w/ Ward, doing well against him.Terrell has since kind of dropped off the map and Myles is hurt, but Madieu and the best bargain in the NFL K2 are there too if needed. However, using either of those 2 at CB would strap the safety positions w/ Beckett out.O'Neal is a big loss but not as big as Simmons or Smith would be for this one. ShulaSteakhouse
Myles isn't hurt as far as I know is he? Roberts went down weeks ago with a mystery illness, but haven't heard from him since. The Bengals are going to have a tough time today. They've never stopped Bettis and missing their 2nd best CB doesn't look good...
schweinhart
Last I read, Myles was either questionable or probable w/ chest injury, proly a sternum bruise.Terrell just dropped out of sight, which was too bad because IMO he had a great pre-season.Bauman was doubtful last I checked. He'd be useful if he played especially off nickel blitz. So who knows? You're dead on about stopping Bettis though. But the Steelers WR trio is pretty damn good and you hate to see Bengals have to deal with them shorthanded.
