Steel Legends
I can't help but to admire this unit because of all the talent they have and how well they play as a team. The sacks are plentiful with utilizing so many different ways to attack...Our DL with Smith, Kimo, Hoke, can create havoc. Our LBs are the best in the league, and our DBs are fast with Townsend, Polamalu, Taylor, Hope, and other players. Plus, factor in LeBeau, the Blitzburgh specialist, this drives offenses mad crazy...Steelers are without a doubt a test for any offense...Does Palmer have enough with just Chad and Rudi Johnson? Sunday will say alot whether the Bengals can hang with this Steelers team...

DEATH TO THE YELLOW (You fools call it gold) AND BLACK. Wow! Bax bashed hard on Big Ben too! All young NFL QB's beware! BengalBax carries little respect for ANY of ya' chumps!! Hey Bax, I just heard ol' Eli Manning has bumped the vet Kurt Warner from the Giants starting spot. I wouldn't mind kicking him around myself! HoosierCat
Does Palmer have enough with just Chad and Rudi Johnson? It was enough a few weeks back. "Blitzburg" managed a whole 1 sack and Rudi had his best game (so far) of the year. Bengals were leading in the fourth before that phantom pass interference call gave the Steelers a free TD. And this Sunday's at our place... :player:
Fighty
Sunday will say alot whether the Bengals can hang with this Steelers team...Did you forget that we hung with you at your place until the last few minutes of the game, and we had a realistic shot to tie the game in the last few minutes. I don't think it will be a problem at home, at least I hope it won't.

And this Sunday's at our place... :player: The Bengals should have pulled it out.. this was one of those game experiences everyone talks about for Palmer. Because his interception to Polamalu kind of killed our momentum. I really think if we play mistake free and the defense keeps the mo they've had the past quarter of the season, we could win this.Plus the ol' home-field advantage always benefits the Bengals. We are 8-4 since 2003 at home... we're 2-0 in 2004 against the number one ranked defense...
turningpoint
sorry, but the ravens have theb est LB's in the league.Lewis, Suggs, Hartwell, Boulware, Thomas >>>>>>>then Porter, Bell, Farrior, and who ever the f**k else plays there.
Steel Legends
There is a reason why we are ranked #1 in defense in the NFL. We just have the studs up front that bolster that ranking. No question that Farrior is a force and Porter is just plain nasty. Factor in Foote and Bell, along with Haggans, and this unit is the best...Ray Lewis is one of the greats but the other guys just don't compare to the Steelers. Bell and Porter are All Pro and what Farrior is doing is without a doubt going to send him there...Ravens are 6-3 for a reason. As KC how to beat them. Just run the football down their throats and out muscle those guys. You try that on Pittsburgh and watch them stuff that run...
HoosierCat
There is a reason why we are ranked #1 in defense in the NFL. Yes, and that reason is that the NFL needs BS stats to hype games.Denver was No. 1 coming into Cincy.Washington was No. 1 going into last week's game in DC with us.Heck, forget about the Bengals, what was Buffalo going into this weekend, 3rd or 4th?Don't get hung up on the numbers. The bottom line is that if the Steelers want to win they need to do what they didn't do last time: stop Rudi Johnson. That's No. 1. All the rest is so much NFL fluff. Denver doesn't have that QB to go to war with, as evidence of his record. Plummer doesn't impress and he really hasn't done anything to make anyone forget about his days at Arizona. Frankly, Plummer is not the answer with Denver...Will Roethlisberger make the mistakes that Plummer made in that game? Heck no and he's only a rookie. One thing about Big Ben is that he is efficient and won't make costly mistakes. He doesn't put the team in a situation to lose...Also, this Steelers team is in no way comparable to Denver. We've ran over teams, as evidence of our 8-1 record, so I'm confident that we can play with any team at this point. I believe that once a team goes through battles and dominates the best it develops a certain level of confidence that nobody can beat them and that is what the Bengals have to face on Sunday...Whenever you play Pittsburgh you better be ready in all phases of the game because they will bring it for 60 minutes... HoosierCat
Whenever you play Pittsburgh you better be ready in all phases of the game because they will bring it for 60 minutes... Well, duh. When did I say anything different? The Bengals are going to bring it for the whole time, too. All I'm saying is that no one is scared of the big bad No. 1. This is a division game. Both teams have played each other a million times. There's no 8-1 or 4-5, it's just, oh, it's those d---heads again. As per usual. Let's rock. :player:

You actually think you are superior to us, LMFAO.No one suggested that. Lack of fear seemed to be the message you missed there. As to the rest of your post, it was more smack than fact. We have a forum just for that. Please use it. The majority of Steeler fans visiting this week have been pretty good about it. I respectfully ask you to do the same.
