walzav29 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 I was wondering if anyone listens to the games on Sirius? I would like to have the local announcers yap when I watch the game, so I don't have to hear about pout numbers on Chad Johnson. I live in Michigan so I can't tune in locally. Does anyone have it? Is it worth it? Quote

kevnz Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 You could always get the NFL Field Pass. It does cost about 30 a year but it's worth it cause you get extra content as well. I'd be lost in the wilderness without it. Quote

membengal Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Sigh. What Kevin said. I am in Memphis and have ZERO chance of getting the Bengals on radio (even with as strong a signal as 700 has) during the day. So, if I want to listen to it, I have to listen to the radio stream, which the NFL blocks unless you pony up for Field Pass.Same thing happens with the Reds and MLB. Costs me $14.99 a year to listen to the WLW stream of the Reds games. Quote
jditty47 Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 i listen to cincy local radio over the internet. f**k field pass. Quote
CTBengalsFan Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 can you get 1360 over the net? i can here in Connecticut. Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 i listen to cincy local radio over the internet. f**k field pass. Hook me up bro! I've tried, and couldn't find a working link. Post it, e-mail, or PM me! NFL.com's Game Day is more frustrating that dialing up one of those 1-900 numbers and getting a girl who stutters! Quote
jditty47 Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 usually u can listen through this site. http://www.1360homer.com/main.htmlif not there just search for a cincinnati radio station. theres an FM one too that plays bengals games....not sure of the # though. Quote

jditty47 Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 no wonder i couldnt find it, i was putting in 92.3 Quote
membengal Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Listening to cincy radio over the net is a good idea, and I do it with 1360 to hear the Bengals talk. But it doesn't matter which affiliate you go to for game coverage...the actual game is NOT streamed on this sites...you have to pay to get it through NFL.com. jditty47 Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 no u dont, ive gotten it free everytime ive wanted to listen. Quote

Is it worth it?No but I am about sick of seeing that commercial with Mt. Madden and Brady talking about Brady's favorite receivers. They should be talking about Madden's favorite Outback selections: Blooming Onion, Cheese Fries, or a nice thick T Bone steak with some aussie chips on the side.. Quote

I always listen to monday night football on www.1360homer.com, and I'm sure it's the same with bengals games. NFL doesn't make them black it out yet, like MLB does. Quote
walzav29 Posted November 12, 2004 Author Report Posted November 12, 2004 Back to the original question. You can just get the game on Sirius. No one has it? Quote
mdgrier Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 I do have Sirius... they also supposedly let you listen online - which I've never gotten to work. I just paid for the NFL Field Pass... it's the only semi-reliable option (I think). Quote
