BengalBobNC
If Marvin does switch to Kitna...I WILL start to question if he is right for the job.Damn right. If Palmer is the future of this team then he needs to stay in there. Our troubles go WAY beyond Palmer. Hint: Run defense, no one without their head up their @ss who could've called a timeout on that fake 4th and 1 play. (Yeah! I'm still freaking out over that play. Beyond stupid!) If Lewis benches Palmer I will join you in questioning Lewis.
Chad Johnson
my bad...but it is pretty obvious i meant rAiders...The only change in offense I would like to see is Perry getting more rushes...Rudi just doesnt cut it. Nobody knew his style last year so he got more yards. Also the team was playing as a whole better so it made it easier for him. I wanna see our first round pick more involved because I doubt we resign rudi in the offseason.

BengalBobNC
Nice job passing on Steven JacksonNice job passing on anything resembling a defensive lineman who can either stuff the RB into the QB's face or one who can stuff the QB into the ground before the pass is thrown. not-another
If they did put Kitna in, he would still lose the games for them. I think you could put any QB in there, and he would still lose. I guess Bengals have a frigging curse on them, like the Red Sox. So put any QB in there, Bengals are still gonna lose. bengalsfan33
This is only Palmer's first year. This is his year to adjust, so just give him and the Bengals to show their stuff.

bengalsfan33
Say what you want! How did Troy Aikman do in his first year as QB...1-15!!! He ended being one of the elite QB's of all time. You can hate on Palmer all you want, but I'm not giving up on him...
not-another
I dont hate Palmer. I meet him, he seems like a pretty cool guy. Bengals go through QB's like a women bathrooms goes through tampons. So im sticking to my curse theory.

But that's still no reason to bench him.
not-another
To correct you, im not a dude.I havent really changed. I just think any QB you would put in their wouldnt do good. I didnt say anything about how i feel about Palmer. Just that he is a nice guy.

not-another
Redsfan33, you're not listening to me. You're reading.I think we should keep Palmer in this season, if we are still the butt of every other team jokes...Get rid of the damn rookie! volcom69
go look up other qb stats when they first come in the league and start for the first time. Not to many looked very good, so i say let him stay in and learn u are not going to learn by sitting on the bench all your life u have to go in and do it sometime. not-another
I think Palmer could get better. That is why he needs some more chances. But, if he is going to keep making "rookie" mistakes, in the late season. He really needs to be benched.
BengalBax
Why bench him now? Starting that piece of crap has already cost us the season!
FunkyDawg
Heres an unbiased comment from a Browns fan. You cant blame your QB when your Defense cannot defend the run nor the pass. Sure Carson Palmer is making mistakes, but how many bungles fans called him the next football God? Did I think it was a mistake to bench someone that was on fire for a rookie, yeah. You cant do anything about it now. Benching Palmer would be a huge mistake, and could blow his confidence. They are giving up 350 + a game. Thats why you are loosing. Unless you play Jake Plummer and Jay Fiedler every game, you guys wont win many.
jamesbrooks21
How many times can you use that excuse man???ITS GETTING OLDAll year you dumb motherf**ker. They call it ROOKIE SEASON for a reason, because that's how long it usually takes to get comfortable-if not more. I know he is a second-year player but it is his first year of action, if you play Kitna is sets us back even longer. I bet Texan fans are glad the Houston coaches didn't give up on Carr after his first season or his second year. It took him 2! BengalBobNC
I would KILL for Palmer to have that elusive 62.8 rating right now!It took Carr all season to get that rating, he didn't maintain it all year long his first season, or second. Our problems are far from being all Palmer's fault.

BengalBax
Wow, impressive. I think you, even with your limp wristed throwing techniques, could muster that rating. And I bet you wouldn't rape someone of 7 mil to do it.
