ShulaSteakhouse Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 7th offensive penalty so far - it's literally costing them the game at this point.1st and 30 now. This is a complete joke. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Would like to see Caleb Miller beat just one 0-lineman to the ball carrier in his life. Then I watch Miller get beat again in pass coverage over the middle. He is awful still. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Marvin Lewis needs to do a better job of preparing this team, they look absolutely lost out there. The penalties are bad enough. Why wouldn't you call a TO when the lined up for that fake punt? Ignorance. Quote
Sox Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 I'm wondering why no one called timout when they lined up on an obvious fake punt.Unreal. Quote
Tiger Stripes Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 omg were goin to lose this game! Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 If I'm not mistaken I think the offense has had all of 3 posessions in the 1st half.A testatment to the absolutely awful, pathetic, incompetent defense. Quote
Tiger Stripes Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 great now theyre goin for the td on 4th down oh yea and they get the ball to start the half! f+ck they got it! Quote
Tiger Stripes Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 man who the hell is volek? Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Bengals shouldn't have even shown up today. Why bother?Marvin, get your head out of your a$$. Quote
kybengalsfan Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 How can a team look so good on Monday night and look so pitful six days later? Our defense looks like it is back to normal: no run stopping, no pressure on the QB, DB's letting all receivers look good, and a QB who threw 3 picks last week looking like All Pro. Man, this sure is difficult getting your hopes up. What a price we pay to be Bengals fans. Will we turn it around in the second half? Don't hold your breath. Of course not. I haven't seen it yet on the road, today will be no different. Quote
belmontbengal Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 13-3. Could be worse. Imagine if McNair was playing...Our defense is pathetic. What happened to the intense D I saw on Monday Night? Not only that, but what also happened to our solid MISTAKE-FREE offense from Monday night? They are playing like they have forgotten anything they may have learned from the sweet MNF game...WAKE UP GUYS! Quote
JPW Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 They can still win this game IF they can cut out the freaking penalties when they have the ball. And start putting at lease SOME pressure on that young QB when Tenn has the ball. One thing that the Bengals have been doing well all season so far is Force turn-overs.Boy could we use a few in this game.... Quote
San Antonio Bengal Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 I don't even have words to describe how pathetic this is. 215 yards allowed in the first half. 8 penalties. 0 turnovers. Quote
Sox Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 False start after false start on the o-line,absolutely NO pass rush,Brown getting 4+ yards before being touched, and special teams not being smart enough to call a timeout. So far it's truly been a team effort.Let's hope they show up this half. schweinhart Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 WTF was that off-side on Moore. The flag came down about 3/4 of the way after the play was over..Go Madieu Quote
jditty47 Posted October 31, 2004 Author Report Posted October 31, 2004 TD BABYINT WILLIAMS f**k YA Quote
Sox Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 All right!!!Despite the bad early play,we are still in it.Nice read Madieu! Quote
B24 Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Hopefully that was the play that turns this game completely around for the Bengals. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Wow that was a nice gift. Good for Madeiu!Sweet, back in it. Quote
San Antonio Bengal Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Just what we needed. Now we just need the offense to score some TDs too. Quote
schweinhart Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Miller played like a MLB on that tackle on Brown. But the Bengals have not been able to stop the passing game enough to win. Brown just caught a pass to convert 3rd down. Can't stop the run either.Brown has run right through the D-line. Langston Moore has done next to nothing and Thronton has nowhere near the energy he had last week. Quote
