skyline
Did anyone catch the part in the post-game press conference with Lewis where he strongly hinted that Askew would get his chance now that Williams is hurt? The reporters said what about Langston, to which he just smiled and replied, "we'll see".I'm a little surprised...maybe Askew is closer to being ready than we had suspected? ShulaSteakhouse
I'm sure he will rotate him in with Moore, if nothing else because he has to now. Same thing he's doing with LJ and Miller. Look forward to seeing him play for the first time.
BengalszoneBilly
I'm sincerely hoping Askew gets some real playing time. Just as with Palmer, the sooner he see's real action, the sooner he becomes the player the Bengals drafted him to be!

Due to financial concerns, he chose to enter the draft a year early, and his inexperience cost him several rounds. He was considered one of the best picks of day two. Just as with Palmer, the sooner he see's real action, the sooner he becomes the player the Bengals drafted him to be! I agree as long as his playing time doesn't set us back for the present. We don't have time to have an exceptionally weak DT at this point in the season. If he's good enough to hold his own with the rest of our DTs, then yes...bring him on. schweinhart
Askew better be vastly improved since pre-season. He didn't seem to know he's allowed to move his feet.
CJBestInAFC
I think this is Askew's chance to be the starter. I hope he comes in and plays hard because Williams will probably be gone after this season. Askew is the biggets Dline man we have. If he can be a good run stuffer like he was in the MIchigan vs. Michigan St. game where he had 4 or 5 tackles on Chris Perry, the Bengals will be very good. skyline
It looks like Moore will get the start against TN. Fine by me...he seemed to hold his own against the Broncos...
