bengalsfan33
at. Denver Broncos(5-1) vs. Cincinnati Bengals(1-4)Time: 9:00 PM ET on ABCAt: Paul Brown StadiumOverview: BroncosBroncos have been playing good thus far through the season. Broncos will be riding high off a blowout win over the Raiders. History has shown that the Broncos play great on Monday Night. For the Broncos to win this game this game, the running game must open up. They are going up against the worst rushing defense in the league. Don't expect to see much of Plummer throwing, expect to see Reuben Droughns getting 20-25 carries.Overview: BengalsBengals haven't looked good at all so far. They are coming off a pitiful 34-17 loss to the Browns. This is the first Monday Night Game that the Bengals have appeared in since, well, a long time. For the Bengals to win thid game, the running game must open up. Rudi Johnson has been held to only one 100 yard game so far. Don't expect much of Rudi since they are playing one of the best defenses in the league. This is going to be a long game for the Bengals...Key Matchup:vs.Champ Bailey vs. Chad JohnsonChamp Bailey is probably the best cornerback in the league. So far Chad Johnson has really struggled with only 23 catches. Bailey should have no trouble sticking on Johnson tomorrow night. Bailey has gotten off to a great start with 24 tackles and 1 INT. Expect to see a lot of Rudi running tomorrow night, but won't be able to anything against this tough Bronco D. I say Johnson will have only 3 catches for 45 yards and 0 TD.Stat Predictions: BroncosQB: Jake Plummer- 13-22 180 yards 2 TD 1 INTRB- Reuben Droughns- 20 carries 95 yardsWR: Rod Smith- 3 catches 80 yards 1 TDCB: Champ Bailey- 4 tackles 1 INTK: Jason Elam- 2/2 40, 47 Stat Predictions: BengalsQB: Carson Palmer- 14/29 200 yards 1 TD 2 INTRB: Rudi Johnson- 25 carries 80 yards 0 TDWR: Chad Johnson 3 catches 45 yards 0 TDLB: Brian Simmons- 8 tackles 1 INTK: Shayne Graham- 2/2 25, 38Game Prediction:This game will consist of a lot of running. Unfortunately, the Bengals are playing bad right now, and the Broncos are playing great. The Broncos defense is just too tough for this Bengals offense. Going to be a long night for the Bungles...Broncos-28Bengals-
sbound_BRONCOS
Hey redsfan33 Did you write this preview yourself? If so, GREAT job man!I do agree that it's gonna be tough but both teams have a lot to prove in this game, and here's why:- With Bengals being 1-4 and last in their division they're gonna do everything they can to prove that you shouldn't be ruling them out just yet.- The Broncos is 5-1 and currently leads its division so you would think a loss against The Bengals would be alright, but no...They're gonna be ready and they're gonna be wanting to pay back for what happened 4 yrs ago with Dillon. So that's why I keep saying it's gonna be very intense and alot closer than you may think.Broncos 30 - 27 Bengals
B24
They're gonna be ready and they're gonna be wanting to pay back for what happened 4 yrs ago with Dillon. I agree with your other points, but a team doesn't really use something that happened 4 years ago as motivation do they? Dillon isn't even here anymore.Redsfan33I hope you're right about Droughns getting held to under 100 yards, I think if he is held to that we may actually win. :player:

As far as the running game goes...I don't see how RD doesn't run for atleast a buck fifty on this defense...no offense cinci fan...but the run D is lacking a bit! I think this rushing attack will kill the clock and open up the passing game quite a bit! Here's some stats to remember:BRONCOS TEAM RANK: Rushing Offense - 151.7 yards per game (1st in NFL); Passing Offense - 219 ypg (14th); Total Offense - 370.7 ypg (5th). Rushing Defense - 87.3 ypg (4th); Passing Defense - 137.5 ypg (2nd); Total Defense - 224.8 ypg (1st). BENGALS TEAM RANK: Rushing Offense - 113 ypg (16th); Passing Offense - 180.7 ypg (23rd); Total Offense - 293.7 ypg (23rd). Rushing Defense - 105.2 ypg (13th); Passing Defense - 218.2 ypg (18th); Total Defense - 323.3 ypg (13th).

Certainly not the fans of each and every team we face, that's for sure!I wake up from a nightmare in a cold sweat every night at about 3 a.m., reciting those damn stats in a blood curdling scream! No one wishes for the Bengals to improve those numbers more than my neighbors.
