jditty47
I know this year so far has been rough with palmer being broken in and our defense sucking due to injuries and a ton of blown plays. Yes the Cleveland loss pissed us all of and every single one of us was disappointed in how we played and that we just flat out lost. But its time to get over that and turn our attention to Denver and our FIRST MNF GAME IN 12 f**king YEARS AND OUR FIRST HOME MNF GAME IN 14 f**king YEARS!!!!!!!!! :player: I am now over the cleveland game and am pumped as hell for our game vs denver. Who knows how we'll play under the lights but i hope to god all of the players just go out and have fun and are loose for once. Even if we lose i hope the game in entertaining from beginning to end. We do have a chance, a slim one, but gotta have hope.Go Bengals, no time is better than now to turn this s**t around! :player:
WhoDey42
I am so pumped for this game. I've been pumped for this game since we got the tickets back in July or whenever. I just forget about the Browns game and keep tellin myself that anything can happen.Maybe Denver isn't as big of Goliath as everyone is saying. Their wins are against KC (1-4), Chargers (3-3), Bucs (1-5), Carolina (1-4), and Oakland (2-4)... a combined record of 8-20. And they've only beat those teams by 10 or less (except for Oakland).Does any of this matter or am I just trying to make up reasons to still think that we may make a game of this? kybengalsfan
I want to share your optimism, but I have no confidence in our defense and it's coordinator. Can a miracle happen? Certainly, and that is what it will be, a miracle if we beat the Broncos. I'll be there, 13 rows from the field, with a bag over my head if the going get rough. Kchrpm
I wonder how many records Droughns will break against us...Maybe we could at least get the single game record out of the Ravens hands.
schweinhart
Could be the Droughns continues w/ his one-hit wonder season. But the Donkeys might do better running the quicker Q because of the DL speed for stunts.Droughns has been busting it up the gut vs. bullrushers but DTs like Sapp and Big Ted take longer to stunt than a Chinese fire drill around a limo. CTBengalsFan
we beat the chiefs and priest holmes last year in an emotional game at home, and he's a better RB than Reuben Droughns and O-lines don't get much better than theirs. So it's POSSIBLE, and you gotta believe. I'm excited for the game.
BengalszoneBilly
The main factor in this game? Jake Plummer. I've seen him do miracles to snatch victory in the final seconds of a game, and I've also seen him take an almost "unloseable" game, and find a why to lose that too! You must admit he is exciting though!
BengalBobNC
Another factor: For once at home, we need to get off to a quick start and stop playing from behind. Get the crowd into the game and keep them in it. It is a huge help. Our scoring per quarter in our two home games so far:................1....2....3....4....TOpp:.......10..10....0...16=36Bengals:...0....3...16....6=253-20 in the first half.22-16 in the second half.Slow starts and playing from behind are killing this team. That always alters a game plan. The Bengals have their work cut out for them Monday night. You can bet Shanahan knows where to attack the Bengals defense, and until we burn their blitz, they will keep bringing pressure.Go Bengals! :player:
BengalszoneBilly
You can bet Shanahan knows where to attack the Bengals defense From the previous 5 games, I get the distinct impression that there is little secret about this amongst other teams in the league. Unfortunately the current talk is that "anywhere" is a good place for this attack.

WhoDey42
If our defense holds them on their first drive and if we can score on our first drive, the crowd will pump the team up and hopefully they'll keep the momentum the whole game. We need to pressure Plummer and force him to throw the ball. :player: GO BENGALS! :player:
BengalBobNC
And here's where we attack the Broncos...their hotel the night before the game I'm for that one! Rough 'em up before the game...sneak attack...the ol' razzle dazzle sucker punch 'em in the hotel bar play! Yeah! Hey DenverBengal...are you getting any grief this week? From the previous 5 games, I get the distinct impression that there is little secret about this amongst other teams in the league. Unfortunately the current talk is that "anywhere" is a good place for this attack. The place to attack the Bengals is on the field...... anywhere on the field....Yeah, that would be the spot.Hey, it's primetime. They played a pretty good game last time during primetime, maybe we'll see something similar. It would be nice.
BengalSIS
I just hope the team can bounce back and at least put in a good performance. I know there is potential there. We just aren't seeing it.Go Bengals!PS. The really optimistic me even feels we could pull off an upset. The me that doesn't want to be disappointed again says we won't. Wise guy First, she's not crying...second...she'd have it no other way. I, on the other hand, would wear a CJ jersey cuz I think he's got a great attitude. I don't even care about the Pepto thing.
