vettespd20
Well it hurts for me to say the following, since I am a huge bengals fan and I TRY SO HARD to stay positve but i am just worried about some stuff. First, we cant make tackles. This is stuff that is supposed to be taken care of in the off season. This is one of the only times i have question Lewis, but what the hell is up with it. Ok i know that a lot of players are hurt and this is second stream guys doing a lot of the screw ups but this stuff needs to stop. Second Palmer, I love Palmer and it hurts me to say he made VERY bad decisions and prob had a 6 int day today. I am not blasting him because he is trying to make something happen from nothing, and the line and some recievers are not helping him very much. But he made some bad long passes and some bad passes. He is letting the defense read his passes WAY TO MUCH. He needs to learn not to let them read him like the New York Times. I hope this gets fixed very soon. Another thing, Does any one agree with me that when this team gets back from the bye that they will come back and get things rolling in the right direction? I really think that they will come back very strong and come back fighting.
Chad Johnson
I am easily discouraged starting 1-3 but I know we will have a nice mid season. hopefully we can just have a nice end of season too....I know itll pick up but right now I fear the worst. BengalszoneBilly
I think the Bengals will come out of their bye week as a healthier and very pissed off team. They WILL come together and win some games, as they usually do this time of year. For whatever reason, Cincinnati has rarely played well right from the start of the season. That's why I predict they will come off the bye week with something to prove and play a good game in Cleveland, before coming home to Cincy to face Denver as an underdog on Monday Night Football! That game will set the tone for the rest of the year. :player:
cincykent
I think the Bengals will win 5 of their next 7, but lose 3 of their last 5 to finish 8-8 again.

HA!!!!Once again, you homers are OUT OF YOUR DAMNED MINDS!!!!!!!6-10 will be pushing it!!!!!With Drunkowski calling the damned plays and the Run Defense giving up insane yardage to has-beens, the season is already a lost cause. You guys are friggin' crazy. Bobcat Bengal
I have to agree with vettespd20 the Bengals allways start slow then warm up quickly !!! :player: Thats a surefire way to get fan support. Keep pulling these lagging behind, sprint to the finish seasons.I don't know how much more of this I can take honestly.

kybengalsfan
As much as I hate to say it, and my pocket book has been generous to the Bengals as a seaon ticket holder, but I feel the team is starting to doubt themselves. They had a great opportunity to pull this one out today but crumbled like a cookie under pressure. I love our guys, but it just seems like we are outmatched every week. All the pre-season hype about the defense being stronger had me optimistic. Also, many who post here were talking about us being champs in our division. Gee, I just hope we can reach 8-8 again. While our offensive line did a good job for Rudi today, the pressure was constant on Palmer. Why can't we ever get pressure on the opposing QB? That Rookie in Pittsburg had all day to throw his passes. It simply looks like we are being out-muscled week after week. The optimism I had before the season has really faded away. Woe is me, woe is the Bengals
